Ch. 60 : Three-Way Deadlock

"Mow down and slip past?" Sauske repeated, standing on top of an enormous, indigo-colored serpent that I have never seen once in Ryuchi cave. I knew it wasn't Manda because its color is way too dark plus I heard that he was dead by the White snake sage. "No problem."

"This guy has the power to clear the distance in one single leap, no sweat!" Naruto exclaimed, grinning down at the large toad under him.

"Repelling enemy attacks won't be a problem either, " Drago assured, standing on top of  down a large brown rabbit with a sword in a sheath on it back." Bongo and I have that covered."

"And now Katsuyu and I can stay near and heal anyone who suffers serious who suffers serious wounds at all times!" Sakura announced, the slug Katsuyu appearing beneath her.

"I can also now down and slip past, " I said, glancing down at a familiar enormous red snake. "Ryuu here is a natural at slipping past.

"Lord Sauske, desire?" The snake inquired, his piercing green eyes glancing up at the Uchiha on top of his head.

"Just keep advancing forward, Aoda, " Sauske directed. "We'll get the main body in the back."

Naruto squinted his eyes at the red Toad whose head he stood on, "Wait a second... You're Gamakichi! Jeez, you really grew up! I thought you were your dad!"

"Nope, my dad's all tied up with some negotiations, so I came instead!" Gamakichi replied. "You surprised?"

"No, not really! But you sure just got big all of a sudden! I mean, last time I saw you were still small!" Naruto exclaimed. "I'm even more shocked than I was about Akamaru!"

"It's you, humans, who grow too slowly." Gamakichi teased."So what's the deal?"

"See that thing all the way in the back? It's Ten-Tails!" Naruto answered. "Could you get me closer to him with some big leaps?"

"No problem!" Gamakichi assured.

Ryuu's golden eyes took in the scene around him, "My, my dear June... You've certainly outdone yourself this time. This is quite the mess, even then when you summoned me to face Pain." He said.

"Yeah, it is quite the mess. Think you can help us out?" I asked.

"It sure has quite the line of defense, " he noted, glancing down at the sea of fission beings that had gathered in front of Ten-Tail's main body. I assume you want me to get you to the main body, as well?"

"Yes, please, " I confirmed. "We also need to mow down the enemy and slip past."

"No problem, " he assured, looking over at the other summoning animals. "Although I never imagined seeing the four of us working together again. Also didn't imagine seeing my old friend Bongo."

"Indeed it has been a long time Ryuu. I haven't been summoned since Hoshi June and Drago mother died, "Bongo said agreeing and pulling out his sword.

"Sakura, you've finally managed to invoke the 100 healings mark! Lady Tsunade would be so proud!" Katsuyu said.

"Thank you, Katsuyu, but right now we have other things to focus on," Sakura replied politely.  "Please divide and attend to each person in the Allied Shinobi Forces. Our role will be to heal everyone!"

"Go, Aoda!"

"Now, Ryuu!"

"Jump, Gamakichi!"

"Now, Bongo!"

"Please proceed, Katsuyu!"

Bongo pulled out his red sword, hopping forward and clearing the way for me and the rest of my team, repelling any attacks while leading him over Ten-Tail's. Aoda and Ryuu both slithered forward, slipping past Ten-Tail's clones with ease, despite their efforts to attack them and pin them down. Gamakichi leaped into the air, clearing the distance towards Ten-Tail's main body effortlessly. Katsuyu divided herself into hundred of smaller slugs, going off to heal the injured.
