-3rd person perspective-

Sophia opened her eyes as she stretches her small little body, she sits up and looks around the room.

"It seems to be really early..." Sophia says in her mind as she blinks a couple of times to have her vision completely.

She pulls the blanket up and snuggles her face against it, "might as well plan for the next couple of days...even my birthday coming up" she says in her mind.

Yawning and stretching again she looks at the emperor and sees his black hair all curled up from moving around, "birthday...should I maybe surprise him with my walking? Noo....what about talking correctly? I may speak but it just baby talk..." she says in her mind as she frowns, "how do I put a smile on his face?" She thinks and sighs.

Crawling to the edge of the bed, she looks down and gulps at the height of the bed to the floor, the emperor bed was rather a bit tall and king size because of his body so Sophia was thinking how troublesome it would be to get down.

She wants back to the spot she was sitting down on and crosses her arms and frowns, "how do I get down...I want to practice walking..." she says in her mind.

The emperor the whole time was asleep, unaware of Sophia's plans. He was still dreaming something nice so for the first time, he wanted to stay in bed and rest.

-Sophia perspective-

Sitting down once again and frowning, I really couldn't come up with anything. What kind of surprise do I show the emperor? I want him to smile or even cry of happiness.

He seriously hard to please...I wonder how the women who gave birth even manage to please him...

I began to remember hearing conversations between the guard about the women being killed before their stomach grow, I just became upset thinking about it.

Why would he kill them? Does he not like them? Perhaps something traumatic happened to him?

I only sigh and look at the emperor's face, wait....there has been this one big question mark in my mind...

What his name? What is my full name? Literally, I only ever heard "your majesty" or "the emperor" and even just my name being called out but what my full name and his!?

I start to think about the name in this country, considering the books I read about every name in the books where either 3 names or 4.

My name must be 4 names right?....damn....think about remembering it...

While getting lost in my thoughts I heard mumbling and turn my head to look at the emperor again, he had his eyes opened.

"Goodmorning Sophia," he says with a low and gentle voice, dang he really is hot and sounds hot...tch...

My father sits up and stretches as he turns to me and smiles sweetly, "let go get some breakfast brought into the room" he says and gets up to walk to the door and open it to call out the guards.

I sit there staring at every action,
Seriously this man is young-looking and handsome no wonder woman wants to be with him....now thinking about it. I haven't seen a woman around him...

Does he have one of those places where he keeps his concubines? In my old life, I have read books about kings having more than 1 wife so he must have lovers right?

-3rd person perspective-

Sophia became curious about the emperor, never had she became interested in someone. Even if it was her mission to bring joy to his life she just considers not know the person and just show happiness and kindness but after being born and spending time with the emperor. She became amused and curious about the emperor.

Sophia now has a new plan, to find out the emperor's name and to find a solution to surprise the emperor on her birthday.

The emperor walks back as he sits down on the bed and grabs Sophia. He put his arms up along with Sophia in his hand and holds her like a teddy bear. "You're so small...I hope you grow up big and strong...I fear the day you become weak and petite enough that you might break....be strong...like your mother..." he says as his eyes became calm and sad all of a sudden. Sophia gazes at the emperor's face and sees his sad expression, "does he miss my mother?..." she says in her mind.

Seeing how the emperor was getting upset she moved her arms and wiggle them as she brightly smiles at the emperor, "d-d-", she said as the emperor snaps out of it and looks at her.

"Yes? What is it?" He says being curious about what she going to say. The emperor just thinks it other words of baby talk but her next words really touched his heart and surprise him.

"Looove dadda!" Sophia says with a bright smile on her face, she waves her arms around in front of him as if she was asking for a hug. The emperor had an expression of a proud and joyful parent, his eyes widened and he was blushing lightly.

He put his arms down and holds Sophia close to his chest, hugging her as she did back.

He had flashbacks to his past as he smiles being overwhelm and let some tears fall, rather than sad tears they were happy tears. He slowly raises Sophia up and lay her next to his shoulder and pat her back softly, "Thank you my lovely princess" he says making sure she doesn't know he crying.

With years of pain, being alone with the memories of the past. He was broken inside, only able to hold it together because he the emperor.

He may not be the only family member in the royal family now but he was alone with the memories of the past, the past that was defiled by blood shed and tears.

Sophia put her cheek against the emperor neck as she felt his body temperature warm but a bit cold, "I wish I was older already..." she says in her head.

"request denied but I can allow you to talk like an adult" a familiar voice was heard in Sophia's head, Sophia eyes widen as she notices the sound of the voice. The voice that started her life again and the one that gave her a mission.

The person who claims they were god, hearing their voice she was rather surprised to even hear it after she was born.

"Did you miss me, child? I did" the voice said in her head, she smiles as a sign of yes.

"I'm glad, you must be surprised to hear me, You rather have a strong inner voice in you," they say

"inner voice? me?" Sophia question what they meant.

"yes you do, that is why I'm talking to you because even from where I am your inner voice keeps wishing to be older or to do something for him, and for that I am grateful you care for him," the voice said

"I am...I never knew...must be when I'm asleep my thoughts are loud unconsciously.." Sophia replies back

"Hehe, indeed it must be that but I came to grant your wish, I may not be able to make ou older because of the human nature being unbalanced but I can make you talk normally," god says

Sophia was surprised by what they said, she never knew that her wish to do something can actually happen. If she was able to talk then she can do many things because she will be able to communicate.

Afterall she was a student from college, she got good grades, learn a lot of information she can, even tried to learn medicine for her mother. With the power to speak, she will be able to talk to the emperor and all the others. 

She thought about it real hard on the thought and say in her mind, "yes" 

the god who was speaking to her from where he was only smiled, "Okay" they said.
