Chapter 16

"I'm alive. I'm okay" Aya muttered as she still continued to hold onto Levi who only just stay silent as he held her, He could see the bruises on her back through the hug and gritted his teeth before he let her go.

"I'm sorry" He muttered looking towards the ground, Aya's eyes widened at his reaction before she brought her hand up to his cheek caressing it. Levi's head looked up towards her

"It's not your fault" She muttered brushing his hair out of his face, He looked at her before nodding

"Your leg and hand" He muttered as the Aya looked down to see them bruised, Levi soon grabbed her hand gently lifting her up and towards the bed. 

"This isn't necessary Levi, i'm fine i heal quickly and i need to-" Aya began but stop herself once she saw Levi glare at her before he continued to wrap a bandage

"We're you protecting the brat? is that why they got you?" He questioned as Aya only looked down avoiding eye contact with Levi

"This remind me of when i always wrapped your wounds but this time i'm the one who is hurt" Aya stated looking towards her leg, and then up towards Levi 

"Why would they want me?" Aya questioned, Levi looked into her eyes seeing the fear in her eyes Levi soon grabbed her hand after he finished wrapping it

"I will protect you. I promise" Levi stated before he kissed her bandaged hand. Aya blushed strongly before she stood up abruptly 

"I-I should umm. Go you know get on a horse and help" Aya muttered as she began to walk away, Levi squinted his eyes in confusion

"What! Your not going back out there!" Levi shouted glaring towards the women as he stood up. Aya stopped walking and looked towards Levi, a glint in her eyes before she turned towards Levi. 

"I know your worried Levi, But i got away and Eren didn't and i can't just sit back when i promised that kid i would protect him and how can I not help! they took him and not me! i got away and well.. He's just a kid Levi" Aya muttered the last bit looking towards the floor

"Whats your deal with Eren? You hated him before" Levi muttered as Aya eyes widened looking at Levi, who grew concerned at her reaction 

"I-I..I" Aya muttered as Levi squinted his eyes in concerned taking a step closer but stopped once Aya looked at him "I don't know something just clicked and i feel this connection with him. I can't explain it " Aya stated before she turned towards the door

"I have to get him. I have to save Eren like i promised" Aya stated walking out and slamming the door. Levi looked at the door before signing loudly and sitting down. 

'That look in her eyes. I've only seen one like it before and it was from Eren. The lust to kill' Levi thought before she graced his face with his hand signing

"Hanji!" Aya shouted running across the wall in new uniform as she saw the titan maniac crawling across the floor "You shouldn't be moving" Aya muttered kneeling down next to her and helping pick her up. 

"Aya what are you doing here?" Hanji questioned as she leaned against her, She looked at the girl concerned

"I wanted to go with Erwin and try to get back Eren" Aya muttered as she laid Hanji back on her jacket, covering her burns as Hanji winced "But i guess i was to late. I have to get a horse on the other side" Aya muttered glaring

"There a horse there you just need to get it down the wall" Hanji muttered pain in her voice, Aya looked towards her smiling 

"Do you know where there going?" Aya asked the women as she nodded grabbing the map and pointing towards the forest "Okay got it" Aya stated standing up though she stopped once she felt a hand on her foot.
