@carter: wait, miss mo naman ako kaagad.

I stared at his reply, grinning my teeth while releasing some sighs. He's really annoying, kahit sa text, he never failed to annoy me.

But after how many texts, he finally replied. I flooded him a message earlier to call me if he has time. I just want to thank him personally kahit hindi kami magkaharap, after all, I hate seeing his face, that's why call is the best choice.

I don't have his Mom's number or even a contact to Jason's iPad kaya naisip ko to call Carter instead. It's almost 5 in the afternoon and I left a text earlier, it's been 2 hours but he still hasn't responded. Good thing nagreply na siya ngayon.

I was busy fixing my table when my phone vibrated, I glanced at it and saw his name. I accepted his call and listen to what he's about to say.

"Slr bakit ka napatawag?"

My brows met, "Slr?"

"Sorry, love rawr—-joke lang." He laughed, "Sorry late reply 'yon."

I remain silent and just wait until he stops his annoying words. Kailan ba siya titigil sa paggamit ng balbal words? Can't he be decent kahit saglit lang?

If it's not because of his Mom, hindi ako magtitiis sa kaniya.

"Oh bakit ka napatawag? Natanggap mo ba pinabibigay ko?" He asked

I nodded, "Yeah, I just want to thank you personally."

"Galing kay nanay 'yon, hindi sa'kin." He exhorted

"Then send my appreciation," I slightly replied

I actually don't know how to send it personally, I don't have her contacts or even her address so I don't know how. Carter serves as a bridge, I was just so grateful and I do appreciate the food they gave.

"Potassium," He responded

Potassium? Anong connect sa pinag-uusapan? Potassium is a chemical element, so where's the connection?

"What?" I asked

He gasped, "Potassium, k." He explained.

I stopped as I get his joke, thinking that it wasn't even a joke because it's not funny. It's more educational, good for him but knowing this Carting, I bet Potassium lang ang alam niya sa periodic table of elements.

"Nandiyan ka pa?" I came to my senses when he spoke, I forgot that we still in an on-going call.

"Yeah," I responded

"Paki-galaw nga 'yung baso,"

"What?" I asked, creasing my forehead out of frustration.

What is he saying? Why do I need to move a glass for him? Or maybe he's talking to someone out there?

He laughed, "Gago, laugh trip! Naiimagine ko nanaman 'yang hotdog mo sa noo."

He said between his loud and hard laughs, I also heard the way he slaps something. He's laughing this hard, what's funny? The hotdog in the forehead? Kailan ba siya titigil about that thing! It's so irritating!

"Are you even normal?" I asked, staring at the screen of my phone, examining if he's acting normal.

Though I know to myself that he's not normal but I still want to make sure.
