When you hold me in the street and you kiss me on the dance floor
I wish that it could be like that

Tinitigan ko siya sa mata habang kumakanta ako.

We keep behind closed doors

Naka ngiti lang siya habang pinagmamasdan akong kumanta at siya na ang kumanta.

Sabay na kaming kumanta at naka tingin lang kami sa isa't isa. Hindi ko alam na ang gwapo niya pala kapag tinitigan mo siya ng matagal. Ang amo ng mukha niya.

Nagulat ako dahil bigla niyang hinaplos ang pisngi ko at bigla niya akong niyakap.

Umikot ako at tsaka lumiyad at sinalo naman niya ako. Patuloy lang kami sa pagsayaw ng walang imikan.

"Students! Iikot na ang ilaw at maghahanap na kami ng face of the night! Be confidence!" ani ng mc.

Umiikot na nga ang ilaw at patuloy parin kaming sumayaw ni Yves. Tapos nang kumanta ang dalawa at bumaba na sila at naki sali na sa dance floor.

Namataan ko si Simon at kasayaw niya parin si Dairen. Wow, talagang ginawa niya sinabi niya, huh? Psh.

Tumigil ang ilaw sa direksyon nila at wow! Si Dairen ang napili bilang face of the night! Wow! Galing!...

"So, nakapili na tayo ng face of the night! Please proceed here at the stage to received your prices." ani na naman ng mc.

"And next! The Queen and King of the night, naman! Continue dancing and dance like nobody watching you." dagdag ng mc.

"Gusto mong maging King of the night, 'no?" biro ko.

"Yeah. As long as you are my Queen." aniya habang naka tingin ng deretso saking mata at napa awang naman ang labi ko. Bumaba ang tingin niya sa labi ko kaya agad kong tinikom at tumikhim ako tsaka nag iwas ng tingin.

Hindi yata nila namalayan na nakatapat na sakanila 'yung ilaw at patuloy parin sila sa pagsasayaw.
