when you get to your house your hear your phone ring. you look down to see it's aaron calling, you pick it up and answer while opening your apartment door.
"hello"
"hey, you might want to bring your go bag and pack some extra clothes incase we talk until super late" aaron says quietly
"ok, i'll see you soon"
"see you"'he says before hanging up
you walk into your room and take all of you clothes off. you walk to you closet and grab an oversized bee gees t-shirt and some sweat pants and put them on.
you walk to your vanity and take off all of your make up since it has been on for hours. you once you are finished you put your hair in a loose ponytail.
once your finished you pack your go bag with your work clothes, toiletries, pajamas, and shoes. once you are finished packing your bag you turn your room light off and walk out and walk into your kitchen.
when you walk in you grab your purse, phone and keys and walk out of the apartment. you lock up and head downstairs to your car. when you get to your car, you get in put your bags in the passenger seat. you start your car and peel out of the parking lot.
the first song to play on your playlist is show me how by men i trust. as your singing the words you hear your phone go off, you pick it up and answer it.
"hello"
"hey y/n"
"hey genius what's up" you ask
"oh nothing much, i just wanted to tell you about my date with meave" he says happily
"do tell" you say giggling
"so there was this japanese film festival this weekend and i heard her mention it while we were on the phone, so i bought tickets and brought her to the earliest one i could find and let me tell you she is amazing, she is so polite, smart, beautiful. she told me that this was the nicest things anyone had done for her, and after the date she kissed me y/n she kissed me" he says putting emphasis on the last words making you smile
"wow spence i'm so happy for you" you pause for a second while turning down hotch's street "so when's the next date" you ask
"hopefully next saturday depending if serial killers decide to take a break" he says happily
"good spence, i have to go but lunch tomorrow with garcia" you want pulling into his driveway
"as always" he says
"ok love you" you say
"love you too" he says before hanging up
you grab your phone and get out of your car, locking it. you walk up to his door and knock. you wait for a minute before seeing hotch in tight red t shirt that shows off his biceps and toned chest and grey sweats.
"hi come in" he says smiling
you walk in and he closes the door behind you. you walk into the living room. you both sit down on the couch and look at each other .
"we need to talk" he says
"yeah we do" you say fiddling with your hands
"hey look at me" he says grabbing your hand
you look up at him with tearful eyes "it hurt aaron, it hurt seeing you with her, it also hurt how you called it a mistake becuase it sure as hell didn't feel like one in the moment"' you say yelling through tears "a- and then come to find out that right after it happened you were seeing her, what the hell aaron i felt used, feeling used isn't the best feeling you know, you also gave me the cold shoulder. every single time i tried to talk to you, you didn't even respond. " you say letting go of his hand to wipe your tears
"y/n i'm so sorry, i shouldn't have blown you off and what happened wasn't a mistake it was one of the best nights i've had in a long time. i haven stopped thinking about you since that night. i'm sorry for all of the nights you spent alone and i'm sorry for treating you the way i did, no one deservers to be treated that way especially you and i will spend everyday making it up to you" he says looking into your eyes
"do you mean that" you ask your voice wavering tears pooling in your eyes again
" i do" he says
he grabs both sides of your face pulling you into a kiss, the kiss is slow and passionate. not fast like the other ones, it's nice.
after a moment you both pull away because of your phone ringing. you roll your eyes and grab it seeing penelope is calling you, you answer it immediately.
"hey penel-" you say but she cuts you off
"y/n it's spencer" she says sounding distressed
"what what happened to spencer"
"i went to go drop off his scarf that he left at rossi's and when i got to his apartment his door was open and he wasn't in it, y/n someone took spencer" she says starting to cry
"i'll be there soon penny, hotch will be with me ok" you say your voice wavering again
"hotch it's spencer we gotta go" you say walking to his door him following behind you
you wait for him to clock up before you both walk to your car. you get in the drivers seat and he takes the passenger seat. you back out of his drive way and speed down his street.
you get to spencer's house in less than 10 minutes after breaking about every traffic law there is. when you get there you park outside of his apartment. you get out as soon as you park and run up the three flights of stairs. when you get to his apartment you walk in and seen the team looking at you.
when you walk in you see the pool of blood and a letter next to it, you crouch down to read it feeling tears prick your eyes.

we're getting somewhere with y/n and hotch, and i'm sorry for spencer, but i will tell you it builds the plot.
