In this oneshot kuroo and kenma don't have any kids and they are still in highschool <3

This is gonna be short- since I have not much motivation.

Kuroo and Kenma were both watching TV together in their bedroom until Kenma got a weather alert on his phone. It read that there was gonna be a huge thunderstorm coming tonight.

"Looks like theres gonna be a few thunderstorms tonight." Kenma said.

"Th-thunder..?" Kuroo replied

"Mhm. Dont worry I'll protect you if you get scared." Kenma teased

"I dont need protecting because I'm not scared." Kuroo said

"Sure." Kenma giggled

"If you get scared, then I'll protect you." Kuroo said

"As if."

Kenma put on a different movie. They sat and watched it for about an hour until all the electricity suddenly shut off.

"Ughh. When it was just getting good." Kenma complained

"What happened-?" Kuroo asked

"There's probably really heavy winds. The thunderstorms are causing it. Basically a power outage." Kenma explained.

He grabbed his phone and turned on the flashlight.

"Kuroo, you're squeezing my arm to death." Kenma said as he saw kuroo clinged onto his left arm.

"Sorry kitten." Kuroo replied "I'm just making sure that you're safe."

"Uh-huh. You can let go,, I'm fine." Kenma said

Kuroo let go of Kenmas arm.

"Well since the power is out, we have to wait a while for it to come back on. I'm pretty sure we have some candles and lighters. We can light some so we can see better without the flashlights." Kenma said, getting out of bed.

"I think the moon is enough light.. Don't leave me just to light candles." Kuroo said

Kenma raised an eyebrow.

"You're so clingy." Kenma sighed, laying back down with Kuroo

Kuroo smiled and held onto his waist.

"Well since the Powers out our only entertainment right now is our phones. We'll have to wait a while for the power to come back on." Kenma spoke.

"Ya know.. Our phones don't have to be our only entertainment~" Kuroo said, sliding his hand up Kenmas shirt.

"No. We did it last night. Not for another few days, Kuroo." Kenma replied.

"I know, I know. Im only kidding." Kuroo spoke.

"Sure.." Kenma replied

Both Kenma and Kuroo cuddled for a while, scrolling through their fyps. Suddenly a clash of thunder boomed causing Kuroo to jump.

"It was just thunder.." Kenma said, laughing

"I know that! There was a jump scare in the video I was watching.." Kuroo replied

"Ooh, lemme see." Kenma said, trying to look over at kuroos phone

"I um... Sorry, I accidentally refreshed the page." Kuroo replied

"Uh huh."

Kenma sighed and got up, having to use the bathroom.

"K-kenma... Where are you going ?" Kuroo asked

"I'm going to the bathroom. I'll be right out." Kenma spoke

"Uh... Okay just don't take too long. The bed gets cold without you.." Kuroo said

"Yeah yeah."

Kenma went off into the bathroom, leaving kuroo by himself.

Kuroo hated thunder and when he heard more thunder rumble he clenched onto the covers and started taking deep breaths trying to calm himself.

There was another boom of thunder, louder than the one before.

"Kenma!" Kuroo yelled. He started breathing in and out faster.

Kenma soon came out of the bathroom. He shone his flashlight on kuroo, seeing that he was breathing healthily and sweating.

"Kuroo!? What's wrong? I left for a minute" Kenma said, getting back into bed next to kuroo.

Kenma grabbed kuroos hand and told him to breathe steadily.

Kuroo slowly inhaled then exhaled as Kenma said to.

"Better?" Kenma asked

Kuroo nodded. Kenma climbed onto his lap and hugged him.

"Did the thunderstorm cause that?" Kenma asked

"..."

Kuroo stayed silent. When lightning flashed there was soon another clash of thunder. Kuroo held onto kenma tighter and buried his face into kenmas neck.

"I know thunder might seem scary but I promise it won't ever harm me or you." Kenma spoke softly.

Kuroo continued to stay silent.

"Don't worry, I'll protect you." Kenma teased.

"Thank you kitten." Kuroo replied

"For...?" Kenma asked

"For being with me and staying by my side... even when I kinda dragged you along all these years, you still decided to stay."

"Hey, don't get all lovey dovey and soft on me." Kenma said

"Sorry. I love you though."

"I love you too, kuroo."
