RWBY: Corrupted Save File

Part #16. Junior's Quest.

It was in a dark room, where Pyrrha was absolutely flooring every single member of Team CRDL. She had taken care of everyone else, so Cardin was the only one remaining. She sent a flurry of slashes at him that pushed him into the air before she jumped up and held onto his neck with her sword before throwing him into the ground. She landed and then performed a back handspring while kicking the downed Cardin's face.

Glynda: "And that's the match." She said as the lights turned on. Pyrrha and Glynda were standing in the auditorium, where Glynda was evaluating her students.

Glynda: "Well done miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament." She told the warrior.

Pyrrha: "Thank you Professor." She said to Glynda.

Glynda looked away from Pyrrha and towards the stands, where the other students were seated.

Glynda: "Alright, now I know that's a tough act to follow but we have time for one more sparring match. Any volunteers? Miss Belladonna? You've been rather docile for the past few classes. Why don't you--" She was cut off from a gray-haired teenager raising his hand.

???: "I'll do it." He said.

Glynda: "Mercury is it?" She asked.

Glynda: "Very well. Let's find you an opponent." She tapped her tablet-sized scroll to bring up profiles of each student.

Mercury: "Actually, I wanna fight... her." She said, pointing down to Pyrrha.

Saffron leaned to look past Blake. He got a good look at Mercury, when he couldn't see a noticeable weapon, Mercury wore a slate gray and black two-tone partial-zip jacket that covers his upper body. He also wore a single notched belt with what appears to be a sash or bandana draped over it. Protecting his arms are a set of rerebraces and vambraces. He wore black pants with gray stripes going down the sides, and black boots with some metal accessories. Saffron narrowed his eyes at his boots when he noticed that there was a belt of bullets on his calves. Mercury also had short gray hair that had the back spiked up, and gray eyes.

Mercury stepped into the arena and raised his hands. After three seconds, Mercury ran at Pyrrha before pivoting on his left foot and spun clock-wise to deliver a spinning back kick to Pyrrha. The warrior blocked with her bronze shield and swiped at Mercury's ankles with her red and black sword.

Mercury hopped up and fell onto his back before spinning onto his hands and performing two back handsprings. He waited for Pyrrha to make her move.
Pyrrha ran forward and Mercury swung his leg around. Pyrrha blocked with her shield, and when Mercury began kicking her nonstop from the sides, she spun and blocked every single hit with her shield. After blocking seven consecutive attacks, Pyrrha noticed an opening and bashed Mercury with her shield. The male got sent back a bit, but stayed on his feet. He looked as if he seemed impressed with Pyrrha.

Ruby: "Hey your friend's doing pretty good." She said to a girl that was slightly familiar to Saffron.

She had somewhat dark skin and dark-red eyes. Her hair is a light mint-green with a straight fringe and bangs as well as two long locks on each side in the back. She wore an intricate white top and an olive-colored crop top, on the back of which had a light green emblem which took the form of a diamond-shape. She wore white shorts underneath leather chaps and two belts. She had green wristbands that stretched and wrapped around her middle fingers. The name floating above her head was Emerald.

Emerald chuckled, but when Ruby looked away she rolled her eyes.
