"I'm sorry Sect Leader Jīn, but there is nothing we can do," said the doctor.
"I understand, may I please have a moment alone with her?" asked Jīn Guāngyáo.
"Of course." said the doctor as he bowed down to Jīn Guāngyáo.
As Jīn Guāngyáo walked to his wife's room, he started to sobbed quietly as he saw the sight of his dying wife.
"Ā-Yáo, my love please don't cry." sighed y/n.
"How can I not cry, when my wife is dying in front of me." cried Jīn Guāngyáo.
"It's going to be okay" coughed y/n. As she coughed, droplets of red liquid started to appear on her palm. Jīn Guāngyáo quickly patted her back, and then small tears were rolling down his cheek.
"Ā-Yáo, could you please bring Jīn Líng here. I want to see him before something happens..."
As Jīn Guāngyáo went to get Jīn Líng. Niè y/n (Yes, you're Niè Míngjué and Niè Huáisāng sister. You're the middle child) quickly grabbed a brush and some ink, she felt a lump in her throat and she was questioning if this was right. His life could be at risk, but she then realized that if she doesn't confess, more people's lives would be ruined because of her husband.
"I'm sorry," said Niè y/n as she dipped her brush into the ink and then tears started to form as she wrote in strokes. She then finished writing and then told her maid to give it to Niè Huáisāng.
"My lady, do you want me to tell Sect Leader Jīn, so he can deliver the message himself?" asked m/n.
"No," chuckled y/n. "Ā-Yáo must never know. He's the reason why Niè Míngjué is dead. Please deliver this message to Sect Leader Niè."
"My lady, why do you stay with a cruel man?"
"M/n, when you love someone. Despite the bad things they've done, you'll always love them no matter what." sighed y/n. "Ā-Yáo may have killed my brother but I'll always love him no matter what."
As m/n bowed down to Niè y/n, Jīn Guāngyáo had arrived with Jīn Líng.
M/n quickly exited out of the room, and Jīn Líng ran towards his aunt.
"Aunt, are you feeling any better?" asked Jīn Líng.
"I'm feeling better, now you're here." coughed y/n, and then more blood started to come out of her mouth.
Jīn Guāngyáo quickly patted his wife's back and gave her some 'soup', that he made himself. Y/n was hesitant at first but she then realized that there was no point in living when her health was this bad so she drank the 'soup' that he made for her.
"Ā-Líng, could you please promise me something?" asked y/n as she gulped down the 'soup'.
"Yes?"
"Please take care of your uncle for me, I know it's going to be hard when I'm gone but can you promise me that?"
"My love who said you were going anywhere?" asked Jīn Guāngyáo.
"Ā-Yáo, my health is already deteriorating and I keep on coughing blood. Please, you must accept the fact that I'm going to die soon." pleaded y/n as tears started to form in her eyes.
"Aunt, don't worry you are not going to die." said Jīn Líng.
"Oh, Ā-Líng. I'm sorry that I'm going soon." cried y/n. "But it is fate, I wish I didn't have to go but fate has a different plan for us." She cried and then wiped her nephew's cheek with the sleeve of her robe. Jīn Líng then hugged his aunt tightly and wouldn't let go of her.
"Y/n, I..." hesitated Jīn Guāngyáo.
"It's okay...I know...but it's fine because... I'll always love you.... no matter what...." said y/n, as she closed her eyes.
Jīn Guāngyáo held her in his arms and then started to cry again, as he touched her face she felt very cold and icy. He then realized that his wife was gone.
Timeskip
As Jīn Guāngyáo was getting ready for the funeral. He barely cried because he thought he didn't deserve to since he was the cause of her death.
"I'm sorry, y/n," whispered Jīn Guāngyáo. "I'll always love you no matter what. Please wait for me, my love."
(If you notice any mistakes, could you please correct me because I was writing this at 1 am lol).
The reason why soup is in quotation marks is because it's supposed to be poison that Jīn Guāngyáo made himself. Sorry if you were confuse with that.
