And ranks of Zeuses' court did swell
On top of mount where gods did dwell.
Convening yearly council held
To speak of problems gods had quelled. And choose the paths divines would take
For coming year their choices make.
Regarding world where men did live
And plans for future council give. And all were joined in Zeuses' hall
Except for Hera queen of all.
And questions spread amongst divines

Away from rest of godlike fray.
Then sudden doors of hall did burst
And quickly mass divine dispersed. And Hera cloaked in flaming wrath
To throne of husband forged a path.
In hands her beasts own carcass bore
Whose frames by Zeuses' child were tore. And held the serpents forms on high
For all the host of hall to spy.
"My fellow gods I bring you proof
Of depths that highest king may stoop. In palms of godlike hands I hold
What's only slain by son of Jove
I cast my spells on serpents frame
So only child of Zeus could claimThe life of drakes, my hand now clasp.
So study well what queen has grasp."And gods beheld the magic wove
That proved to all the crime of Jove. And Zeus the god of greatest fame
Did shrink from host in deepest shame.
And bid his queen to lower hands
And up from throne he quickly stands. To render judgement fair and true
In hopes his subjects anger sooth. Please vote and comment!!! : )
