while y/n and kairi were in the car they acted as nothing happened and they were making jokes with each other and laughing occasionally listening to music they ended up first going to a park as they stepped onto the gravel pavement listening to the rocks crumble under their feet as they walked onto the grass sitting down under a tree just watching kids play and dogs run and having the sun and a cool breeze wash over them it felt like they were finally at peace

Y: this is nice
Kairi: i know right
Y: why haven't we've come here earlier
Kairi: i guess we've never noticed it but y/n i'm proud of you
Y: for what
Kairi: standing up to dejuane you let go and told him exactly how you felt and i'm proud of you
Y: thanks bubs means a lot to hear someone finally say that
Kairi: that's what i'm here for

y/n hugged kairi and as he hugged back they stayed like that for a while until he stood up then held his hand out so y/n grabbed it and they started walking around the park holding hands swinging it back and forth and talking soon they walked to a pilar seeing water at the bottom of it as they just looked down as the waves splashed against the rocks and occasionally the little bridge they were on soon someone tapped on y/ns and since kairi was holding her hand she knew it wasn't him so she looked beside her and saw vexton so she waved at him then faced back to the water

Vexton: well hey to you too
Y: i waved that counts
Vexton: ehh 50/50
Y: no that counts one hundred percent
Vexton: hmm no..no it doesn't
Y: what are you doing here anyway nerd
Vexton: since you must know i'm here running
Y: i didn't need to know ugly but do you run daily
Vexton: no ms y/n i just run whenever i need to clear my ming
Y: clear your mind for what
Vexton: won't get my business out of me that easily
Y: clever using my own stuff against me
Vexton: i sure did but i find it extremely funny i've bumped into you three times i believe and yet once have i acquired any contact information of yours
Y: and you won't get it that easily see you around mr vexton

with that y/n and kairi walked off while vexton stood there smiling then he jogged off as y/n and kairi continued walking soon they got back in the car and turned on the ac then they started driving just humming to songs until he turned the radio down

Kairi: so who's mr vexton
Y: nosey aren't we
Kairi: come on i wanna know
Y: just someone i met at the store the day i left dejuane
Kairi: ohh ok ok i hope you plan on officially divorcing him before you move on
Y: one vexton might just be a friend and two i'm just waiting for dejuane to sign them and give them to me
Kairi: ok fuck mrs mccoy call her mrs moving on
Y: i hate you
Kairi: you love me
Y: anyways where we going next
Kairi: umm i actually don't know
Y: go bowling with me
Kairi: sure

they drove to the bowling alley and once they got there they paid for their bowling shoes and what not then they went to there bowling lane and kairi went first as he picked up the bowling ball he turned to the lane and just slammed it down and y/n burst out laughing while kairi turned around smiling and throwing his hands up

Y: what the fuck was that kai
Kairi: i'm trying bully
Y: babes you threw it down
Kairi: shhh child just go
Y: i can't stand you

y/n went to lane and she grabbed the bowling ball and swung it back but it slipped out of her hand falling on the floor behind her she burst out laughing because it hit kairis foot then she picked it up rolling it down the lane as she turned around she saw kairi with his head thrown back holding his foot so feeling bad she kissed his forehead holding back her laugh

Kairi: shit that hurt
Y: are you ok
Kairi: my foot is probably broke
Y: oof that would be tuff
Kairi: shit this hurts
Y: alright come on out next trip shall be the emergency room
Kairi: i hope they charge you for attempted murder
Y: oh shut up big baby

while kairi was making jokes y/n took one of his arms putting it around her shoulders then helping him up and to the car she opened the passenger door helping him inside then she went to the driver side and began driving to the hospital

Y: i find it funny i'm the pregnant one but you're getting more help than me
Kairi: i help you a lot
Y: true anyways in 2 months i figure out the gender
Kairi: aww gabby figures hers out next week and i can't wait
Y: i wanna know as soon as you find out
Kairi: alright
Y: there's only one problem with mine
Kairi: what
Y: what if me and dejuane still aren't talking like at all then who would come with me
Kairi: i will of course
Y: you sure gabby won't mind
Kairi: it'll just have to be something she has to deal with but i wouldn't miss it for the world
Y: yay ok now let's get you to the hospital
Kairi: sounds like a good idea

they kept talking while y/n drove kairi to the hospital once they got there just like last time she helped him out then they walked in signing kairi in and they sat down for like thirty minutes until they brought kairi to one of the rooms in the back and they checked his foot then later came back

Doctor: i have some bad news
Kairi: what's wrong
Doctor: you'll have to get surgery
Y: surgery over his foot
Doctor: the bone is cracked in multiple places and we can't pop them all back in place without getting under the skin
Y: wait why is there not anything else
Kairi: hey y/n it's fine i'll be ok it's just my foot
Y: do you promise he'll be ok
Doctor: i promise
Y: ok bubs i'll be right here when you get back ok
Kairi: ok i'll see you later

kairi hugged y/n and kissed her cheek then y/n sat down watching the doctor pulls his bed out the room so she just looked around at the walls trying to find something to do then thirty minutes later kairi wasn't back so she just fell asleep in the chair curled in a ball
