Mattia POV
i was a crying mess i couldn't lose both of my best friends in one day and everyone around me was crying and yelling and begging the doctors while i stood there feeling helpless not knowing what to do or what to say not even how to help someone because how could i do that when i can't even do it for myself so i stood there helplessly crying and begging then the doctor came back out saying we could go see kairi i took off running to his room so fast that i was the first one in there then gabby and then the rest besides dejuane he hasn't been back since the doctors told us about y/n but while we were standing around kairi he slowly opened his eyes

Gabby: oh thank God baby you're ok
Kairi: where's y/n

when he said that everyone stood there almost about to break out crying again but we all just looked down not wanting to tell him

Mike: she's struggling kai
Kairi: what she wasn't hit i was
Mike: the bullet went through you and got stuck in her right next to her spleen she also got head trauma when she hit the floor kai we don't know if there's a chance for her i'm sorry
Kairi: no she can't go take me instead i'll die if she gets to live please guys you can't just stand there and let her die help her please got damn it please
Alejandro: kai
Kairi: no don't let her leave come on please guys please make sure she stays alive i can't lose her come on i'm begging please do something don't just fucking stand there looking worthless go please

while kairi yelled we all looked at him as he broke down crying telling us to go help her but we knew we couldn't do anything so we watched as he gave up and leaned back on the bed hanging his head down and crying when gabby tried to rub his back he slapped her hand off and put his hands over his face crying even more soon the doctor came and saw him so we all had to go back into the lobby and everyone had new fresh tears while vexton went back to the house with the kids soon dejuane came back and he looked absolutely terrible no one asked what happened though we all kind of just looked at him then looked away as he sat down in a seat just staring at the ground soon we all started leaving and going home leaving dejuane by himself

Dejuanes POV
once everyone left it was just me so i stood around pacing back and forth through the hospital waiting for a doctor anything by the time a doctor came it was 6 am in the morning and he walked up to me covered in blood so i looked at the ceiling as he spoke

Doctor: she's stable
Dejuane: can i see her please
Doctor: sure just be quiet she's sleep

i went to her room and as i made it to the door i leaned on it seeing her laying there brought back memories i didn't want but i slowly walked in pulling a chair next to her bed and sitting next to her as i looked at her just laying there barely breathing with wrap covering her stomach which was red in some spots and she had a bandage around her head which worried me i just sat there holding her hand as she laid still

Derek POV
while everyone was home we decided to drive through the neighborhood y/n and kairi was shot at to maybe find some evidence to who did this or maybe why they did it as we got to the place it was beyond creepy and we wondered how they got here but we went to the concrete seeing police tape surrounding it but since no one was around we went under it kneeling around the stains we saw they were right next to each other and you could see y/ns little blood trail to kairis pool of it which was a lot for someone as short kairi we all just examined it then got in the car discussing what we thought then we got back to the house getting out and going in the living room still stressing over the situation then they all went to sleep one by one until i was the only one up so i went in my room forcing myself to sleep

back to Dejuanes POV
as i was sitting next to y/n she slowly started to wake up once she did she opened her eyes just staring at me with a confused expression on her face

Y: who are you and where's kairi

all i could do was look at her i was completely lost for words and i didn't know what to say
