y/n: (screams)

[HUENINGKAI runs to living room]

hueningkai: "What's wrong?"

y/n: "There's a spider!"

hueningkai: "Seriously? That's it?"

(spider moves)

hueningkai and y/n: (screams)

y/n: "Why does it look like a baby tarantula?"

hueningkai: "Where is the vacuum cleaner?"

y/n: "In the hallway closet."

[HUENINGKAI runs to closet]

y/n: "Hurry, it's moving again!"

[HUENINGKAI turns on vacuum]

hueningkai: "Step aside. The Terminator is here."

y/n: "Mr. Terminator, where is your protective gear?"

hueningkai: "Um... I left it in my cyborg mobile. But have no fear, I can do without it in this mild situation."

cousin: "What are you guys do--"

hueningkai: "Shh. I am in the middle of extinguishing a monstrosity."

y/n: "Not from that angle, it's gonna fall on our heads!"

hueningkai: "It has to be this angle!"

y/n: "Do it from the side."

hueningkai: "If I do it from the side, it'll--"

[COUSIN throws slipper at spider]

cousin: "There. Problem solved. Looks like you need to rethink your services, Mr. Terminator."

y/n: "It's still twitching!"

[COUSIN whacks spider]

cousin: "If it twitches anymore, just spray it with perfume. There's some in the bathroom cabinet. It can die smelling like Victoria's Secret."

[COUSIN leaves]

y/n: "You were too slow."

hueningkai: "I was not."

y/n: "You were."

uncle: "Hueningkai, can I talk with you for a minute?"

hueningkai: "Sir, I was just trying to kill a spider."

y/n: "He really was."

uncle: "I'm sure you were, but can you step into the den for just a moment?"

hueningkai: "Okay..."

uncle: "[y/n], your aunt needs help with dinner. Would you mind lending her a hand?"

y/n: "Sure."

[Y/N leaves]

hueningkai: "Is everything okay?"

uncle: "Yes, it's fine. I just wanted to ask you... how have you liked staying here?"

hueningkai: "It's been great, actually. You've all been so nice to me."

uncle: "That's good to hear. I know I was skeptical to have you here, but you've been wonderful to all of us. I can tell [y/n] and [cousin] appreciate your company. So do I, to be honest."

hueningkai: "Thank you."

uncle: "That's why this notification from Host Family Services is so difficult."

hueningkai: "Notification?"

uncle: "Yes. Haven't you received the email from them?"

hueningkai: "I haven't checked my email yet today."

[HUENINGKAI pulls out cellphone]

hueningkai: "............oh."

uncle: "Right. 3-4 weeks is when your new, actual host family will be able to take you in."

hueningkai: "I see......"

uncle: "The thing is, though, I emailed them back to let them know that we want you to stay."

hueningkai: "You did?"

uncle: "I did. But I also let them know that the final decision is up to you. This whole mess happened because of their mistake. That doesn't mean they have the final say, too."

hueningkai: "Wow... I don't know what to say."

uncle: "I don't mean to put pressure on you. Just know that whatever you decide, I completely understand and we still care about you just the same. Okay?"

hueningkai: "Okay. Um... how long until I have to give my answer?"

uncle: "2 weeks."

hueningkai: "Only?"

uncle: (laughs) "They did say 3-4 weeks the transfer would be available. But I'll let them know you need two and a half weeks. How does that sound?"

hueningkai: "A little better."

uncle: "Great. I'll let them know. Take your time, okay? Whatever the choice, it's yours to make."

hueningkai: "Thank you, sir."

uncle: "You can drop the 'sir' now, too."

hueningkai: "Okay. Just thank you, then."

uncle: "Exactly."
