Chapter Seventy-Five: Brooklyn Heights

At Brooklyn Heights.... Adam drove his Mustang to Central Park. You got out of the car with Adam and you took a romantic stroll in the park. ''It sure is beautiful here.'' You said awe-struck as you looked at the beautiful city of New York. ''Yes, but it's not as beautiful as you. Daisy, ever since you came into my life my soul was fed. You mean the world to me and I would like to live in that beautiful world with you all the days of my life. I love you from the ends of the earth and back. so Daisy, my love, my joy, my New York Princess will you marry me?'' Adam said getting down on his knee and opened a goregous 24 carat diamond ring. 

''Oh Adam! Yes, of course I'll marry you! Yes!'' You said as tears of joy apperared on your eyes. Adam smiled a goregous smile and he kissed your hand as he placed the ring on your finger. ''I love you so much, Adam!'' You said reaching up to kiss him passionately. Adam deepened the kiss as he parted your lips with his tongue, you sighed softly as he explored your mouth. After about a minute or two, you broke apart gasping for air. Your breaths were in sync, and you both finally caught your breath. You both smiled happily at each other. 

''Come on, let's go home.'' Adam said linking his arm with yours. Adam parked his car next to the apartment and opened the door. ''It's so beautiful here.'' You said smiling softly. ''Thank you. Would you like to see Moose?'' Adam asked you curiously. ''Of course. He's such an adorable dog.'' You told him honestly. ''Aw, thanks.'' He said smiling at you. ''MOOSE, I'M HOME! DAISY IS HERE TOO!'' Adam called loudly so Moose could hear him. Moose barked excitedely and came running to the living room. ''Hey, Moose.'' Adam said petting him. ''Go say hi to Daisy.'' Moose trotted towards you and licked your hand gently. You laughed it sure did tickle. You pet Moose gently and scratched behind his ear. ''Hey Moose, you're such a cutie.'' You said in a 'baby' voice. 

You looked at the Christmas decorations and saw his Christmas tree. It was about 8 feet high decorated with light blue and white lights with golden tinsle and silver baubles. ''I love your Christmas tree, Adam. It's very beautiful.'' You told him with a smile. ''Thanks. Would you like some hot cocoa?'' He offered kindly to you. ''Of course, Adam. I'd love that.'' You said happily. ''Would you like a candy cane with it as well?'' He asked you curiously. ''That would be lovely.'' ''Ok, I'll be right back.'' Adam said as he went to the kitchen to get the hot chocolate and candy canes. 

About 5 minutes later.... Adam came back with two mugs in his hands and a candy cane in each mug. There were also marshmallows inside of it as well. ''Mmm. This looks delicious!'' You said licking your lips. ''Thank you.'' Adam said with a warm smile. You smiled back at him. ''I'm so happy that we're engaged. I can't wait to get married!'' You said excitedely as you gently stroked Adam's hand in yours. ''Me too, Daisy. We're perfect for each other.''

 You took a sip of the hot chocolate and the wonderful flavor was intoxicating. There was a perfect balance of salt and sweet and spice with the candy cane. ''Oh Adam, this is the most delicious hot chocolate I have ever tasted. Did you make it?'' ''Yes I did. It's my own homemade recipe. It is perfect for the holiday season esspecially with the candy cane. The secret is I added just a pinch of salt inside the chocolate to have a balance between sweet and salt. And then I also added the marshmallows to make it a perfect drink.'' 

''You got that right.'' You told him honestly. ''I always leave a little bit in my mug for Moose to drink as well.'' Adam said as he set the mug down on the floor for Moose to drink the rest. Moose lapped it up quickly. ''He loves it very much. Do you give him pupachinos sometimes?'' You asked him curiously. ''I sure do and he loves them.'' You and Adam shared a romantic kiss next to the mistletoe. You are having a lovely time with Adam in Brooklyn Heights. You are going to make a wonderful husband and wife for each other.
