Hearts were strung up on a drying line.
Patience slowly drained from the deepest parts of my sanity and watching Poe as he paced up and down the room was not helping. The sound of his rhythmic feet trampled over papers that fluttered down from where the window was thrown open.
"So, go over it again for me, make it simple" he spun round on his side and tilted his hips, hand resting on the counter to his left. Briefly, I looked up at him.
"It's either our decision or theirs."
"Easier said than done"
"Well, its obvious isn't it"
"We make it our choice" his hand firmly lay on my thigh and he leant forward to catch my gaze which was still struck on the mess ridden floor. My eye caught the overhead light focusing on the letter we received, determining our daughters future.
