I sighed.

Then for the nth time, I sighed again.

"Makabuntong hininga ka naman, parang ang laki ng problema mo."

Pumangalumbaba ako at inungusan si Eunice. "E, malaki naman talaga."

I sighed again. This is gonna be the first time to meet the Walton's CEO. Pero hindi pa rin ako mapanatag. Pinapangunahan ako ng kaba. I can't explain how nervous I am right now.

My eyes bore to my son who's sleeping on the Ben10 designed crib. Siya lang talaga ang nakakapagpagaan ng loob ko.

"Oh, binili ko 'yan." may hinagis na bagay si Eunice, agad ko naman itong nasalo at sinamaan siya ng tingin.

"Pwede namang ibigay nang maayos, ihahagis talaga?" I sarcastically said and looked at the thing she gave.

Kumunot ang noo ko. "Ano 'to?"

"Pagkain. Boba lang?" panggagaya niya sa 'kin.

I rolled my eyes.

"Contraceptive pills 'yan, basahin mo."

Binasa ko naman at oo nga. I looked at her, confused.

"Why are you giving this to me, anyway? For what?"

"Para saan ba 'yan?" umirap siya na parang ang tanga ko dahil hindi ko man lang alam ang bagay na ito.

Ibinalik ko ang paningin sa pills. "Bakit nga?" inis na tanong ko.

"Just in case." she smirked mischievously. Nanliit ang mga mata ko.

Inangat ko ang box of pills at sinamaan ng tingin si Eunice. I know what she's thinking just by looking at her right now.

"And you really thought I would do that, huh?"

"Why not?" her smirk grew wider, teasing me. "Besides, you already have a baby. Oh my... haha!"

Nag-iwas ako ng tingin. "We don't know yet if he really is that man. At saka pwede ba! Hindi ako ganoong klaseng babae." asik ko sa kanya.

"Naku! Isang taon kanang tigang, baka magsara na 'yang puday mo-"

Pinandilatan ko siya at akmang ibabato ang pills sa kanya.

"-Joke."

I glared at her. She smirked. I stood up and grabbed my things. "Take care of my son, Eunice. Ikaw lang ang maaasahan ko ngayon. So please..."

She stood up as well and faced me. "Oo na, Oo na. Ginawa mo na akong yaya... ay hindi... magandang yaya, I mean." she flipped her air.

I rolled my eyes. "As if naman..."

"Woy, grabe 'to. Umalis ka na nga... hihihi."

"Take care of my son." lumapit ako sa aking anak at binigyan ng matamis na halik sa noo. I slightly pinched his nose. "Si Tita Eunice muna mag-aalaga sa 'yo, hmm? Don't worry, I'll come back. I love you, baby."

Nilingon ko si Eunice. "'Yong bilin ko sa 'yo-"

"Oo na! Makabilin ka naman, parang mamamatay ka na sa susunod." lumapit siya sa akin at nakipag-beso beso. "Ikaw din. Galingan mo."

She smirked mischievously. I glared at her. "I'm not that kind of w-"

"Oo na. Too conservative, umalis ka na! Baboo."

At ipinagtulakan niya ako palabas sa unit ko. I obliged, though. I took a heavy sigh and walked outside my condo. Pumara ako ng taxi at nagtungo sa company ni Daddy.

Dumating ako sa building at exact ten in the morning. I entered in. The front desk employee greeted me.

"Good morning, Miss Gray. How may I help you?"

"Where's my father?" I almost rolled my eyes saying the word I addressed him.

Ngumiti ang employee. "In the office, Miss Gray. But-"

Hindi ko na pinatapos ang sinasabi ng employee dahil mabilis akong umalis at naglakad patungo sa elevator. I entered the elevator and tapped the button up.

Kagat kagat ko ang labi habang nagmamadaling lumabas nang magbukas na ang elevator. I started walking towards the CEO's office. The old toad's shit of an office.

When I reached the door. Walang pasabi kong binuksan ang pinto, ganoon nalang ang gulat ko nang makitang may iba pa palang nandito aside from my father.

Oh shook. All eyes are on me now. It seemed like they're having a meeting or something?

Natigilan si Daddy sa pagdi-discuss ng kung ano sa harap at napatingin sa gawi ko. His eyes were fierce when he saw me.

I gulped. Oh, I just disturbed a meeting here.

"Meeting adjourned." my father announced coldly to his co-businessmen.

I swallowed harder when his eyes bore onto me. Nagsilabasan na ang ibang businessman at kaming dalawa nalang ang natira.

He pointed me out. "Come here and be seated."

I gulped as I obliged. He arched his eyebrow afterwards. "Hell yeah, you just interrupted some important meeting." walang kasing lamig ang boses niya.

In spite of that, I managed to remain cool and unbothered. "My apology, Dad. Pero hindi na ako magpaligoy ligoy pa."

Nagtama ang mga mata namin. I gulped and spoke. "Can you unfreeze my account now? It's been a year since you grounded me. In exchange of dealing to the Walton's CEO, can I take it back now?"

He crossed his arms and looked at me. A smirk plastered on his lips. He nodded. "Okay, then-"

"And of course, my car. I badly need it, Daddy. Taking a cab sucks!"

"Okay, then-"

"And promise me, after all of these. Hindi mo na kami guguluhin, let me and my child live in peace."

Nagkatinginan kami ni Daddy. There's something in his eyes I couldn't determine nor name. Yet, slowly, he nodded. I felt relieved, somehow.

"Okay. You just need to close the deal with the Waltons then it's all over. I'll let you go." bumuntong hininga siya at ngumiti, pero hindi umabot ang ngiting iyon sa kanyang mga mata.

Tumango ako. "Thanks."

Tumalikod na ako at nag-umpisang maglakad palabas.

Nakahinga na ako nang maluwag. At least, my accounts were finally back. I didn't expect my father would forgive me that easily. Ano'ng nakain no'n?

But then, a smile crept on my face. Hindi kita bibiguin, Dad. I know it's a wicked thing to do but there's no other option but to take the bait.

Walton, huh? Sounds... interesting.
