I was sitting watching over my older brothers' shop since he was at his teams' volleyball practice. I couldn't help but feel disappointed. In all honesty, I love volleyball with all my heart, I love playing, being on a team, and having the confidence that came with being on a team.

But on my last year of high school, it was my first game of that year and I ended up landing wrong and tore my ACL. My family tried to get me, different doctors, to see if we could fix it but in the end, nothing could be done. I was extremely upset and went into a deep depression. And before I knew it my outgoing and confident personality changed. I became anti-social and quiet and extremely shy. The only reason that ever happened was that I hated the looks of pity that I got for the rest of my school year.

And now I'm a 19-year-old boy with no ambitions in life. I do online college because I don't like humans that much. I heard the door open and I saw my brother walk in looking extremely exhausted. I giggle a bit before speaking, "Are you okay?" He nodded his head before laying his head on my shoulder. I pat his head and giggle some more. "Um, Shin?" "Yes (n/n)" "Well I um was wondering if maybe I could, you know, meet your team".

He stood up at the speed of light and grabbed my shoulder with a wide-eyed look on his face. "Are you sure? I wouldn't want you to push yourself into meeting the team. I know how shy you are and I wouldn't want you to combust." I stare at him before smiling a bit, "I'm sure, I want to meet the team who made my big brother act like a grandpa." He rolled his eyes before speaking again, "Okay, you can show up during our afternoon practice, since I have to be there all day tomorrow. Close the shop early and show up" I nodded my head before going on ahead, to sleep to not regret my decision because of anxiety.

*time skip to tomorrow*

I sat on my bed in a towel contemplating whether or not I want to go. Just as I was about to text Shin to tell him I decided not to go, I received a text from the man himself

~Shin~

Don't let your anxiety take you away from meeting new people (n/n). I told my team that they were going to meet you today and they looked very excited. I'm sure these crackheads will love you. And I'll be here the whole time by your side protecting you

Okay, I'm getting ready. I'll be there in 30 minutes.

After sending that text, I went ahead started to look for what might be a good outfit. It's wintertime and I am 100% feeling the cute winter outfits.

Once I finally finished picking the outfit I wanted. I made my way to the school and its gym. I was nervous and I couldn't help but start overthinking. 'What if they don't like me? What if they think I'm weird for the way I dress? What if- No I can't start overthinking now and end up getting an anxiety attack. I want to make my brother proud and meet the team who's making him proud, happy, and somewhat sappy.'

Approaching the gym door, I inhaled a deep breath before opening the door. Once I had opened the door I stuck my head in. All eyes were on me making me blush slightly. "(M/n) come on in" I heard the voice of my brother which made me feel a little less anxious. I took another deep breath before walking inside. I saw the boys' jaw drop once they caught sight of me, making me feel self-conscious so I looked down and began to play with my fingers.

My brother walked over to me and wrapped an arm around my shoulder before speaking, "This is my younger brother Ukai (M/n), he's quite shy so be nice" I looked up and smiled a bit before speaking, "Hope we can get to know each other and maybe I could even give you guys pointers in volleyball"

'Cute!!!' the whole team thought as they blushed at how gorgeous the boy was. They all couldn't wait to get to know the boy that was standing in front of them
