"when the fuck did we turn into liars?"
"im not lying josh!"

"how? how am i lying when you wont even listen to me!"
"because it was one time nessa and did you forget that we used a condom?"
"it broke" she said as he laughed.
"no the fuck it didnt"
"how would you know?!"
"let me see the test then"

"let me see the pregnancy test"
"i went to the doctors for it"
"so then let me see the confirmation papers"

"want me to take a test in front of you?"

as lili and quinton sat on the couch, he began to grow jumpier before grabbing her hand and dragging her up the stairs.

"quinton what are you doing?!"
"i got new decorations in my room and i really want you to see them cause their like really cool!" he said quickly.

she stayed quiet until they reached his room, her staring at him for a minute.

"why are you lying?"
"im not!"
"why are you getting so defensive?"

"quin, i lived with you for a year, i can tell when your lying"

"good because im definitely not! i wouldnt need to hide anything!"

she stared at him before sprinting into jadens room and closing the door on quinton.

"why's quinton so nervous?"
"nervous? what do you mean?"
"okay, why are you both acting like this?"
"no clue what you mean"
"you both are acting jumpy"

"who's talking to josh?"
"what?"
"who else is in that room?"

"fuck you jaden!" quinton yelled from the other side of the door.
"you guys are horrible liars" she laughed before opening the door for quinton.
"wait but we didnt lie! it is nessa"

as josh and nessa arrived back at the house, he was quick to follow her upstairs and sit on his own bed.

"go, i'll be waiting" he said blandly.

she came back out after a few minutes, holding the test before handing it to josh.

as he scanned over the test, he let out a laugh.

"really nessa?"
"wh-what?"
"your gonna try to manipulate me to stay with you by using your moms pregnancy test?"

"you can go now. i have a girlfriend in jadens room that i would really like to go makeout with so the sooner the better" he said while walking downstairs and opening the front door.
