My eyes started to shed tears. I felt pain, not just in my face but in my heart. His claws dug into my cheek. I ignored the pain in my cheek and focused more on the pain in my heart. With every beat of my heart, the more it ached. The pain grew more. I started whimpering from the pain.

"Now now babe, no need to whimper." He said as he licked my tears off my cheek.

He saw the fear in my eyes. He just started chuckling. He kept licking up my tears until I couldn't cry anymore. That's when he finally decided to let me up.

"No use in trying to run away, that mountain terrain is not well mapped out. Only I know the way down and up, so don't try anything!" I slowly nodded. He allowed me to get up and made me follow him into a den. He let me go in front of him. I looked around, candles were emitting a soft glow. A big bed was in the corner of the den. I slowly walked over to it. I suddenly was shoved into the bed.

"Stay." a stern deep voice said. I started shaking. I had no idea what was gonna happen. He jumped up on the bed and pulled me into the bed.

"Good girl." I heard him whisper in my ear. He started changing back into his human form. I felt his hand wrap around my waist. His head wedged in between my neck and shoulder. I started drifting asleep. I had forgotten what it was like to be held by a warm body and feel the beat of a heart. I didn't feel safe. I barely slept that night. Once I finally fell asleep, it was dawn. I felt him move, as if he was looking over.

"Good, she's still asleep." he carefully got up and pulled the blanket over my shoulder. I moved a bit but I immediately passed out. I'm not sure why but it felt like Ethans bed. I was comfortable, safe and happy. Once it was dusk, I finally woke up, The wolf was on top of me.
