Bunny was sound asleep in the bed. Her soft breathing could barely be heard. I started petting her head trying to let her know that I was there. She shifted a bit and sighed. Noah chuckled, thinking that it was cute.

"She's regressed," I whispered.

"Regressed? What do you mean?"

"She's either stressed or frightened," I said while stroking her hair. She turned and hugged my hand. She didn't want to let go.

"She's frightened."

"Of what?"

"I'm not sure, she might be having a nightmare," I said while caressing her cheek. She held on tight. I then lifted her and allowed her to bury her face in my bare chest. Noah started petting her head, being gentle. I felt her heart thumping and smelt her blood rushing.

"What made you so afraid little Bunny?"

"Could it be that she's dreaming of losing you?"

"Possibly, but why fear that? The tea that she drinks allows her to be immortal."

"I am very aware, dear brother."

"Then what is there to fear?"

"I'm unsure, but do be aware the mortal's imagination is very vivid and should not be explored with a fragile mind," Noah said while glancing at me. I nodded, I knew very well what her imagination held. She started to whimper and whine.

"Shhh my Bunny, you need your rest. Lay still and dream of a star-filled sky." I whispered. I laid down in the bed with her and glanced at Noah.

"Aren't you coming, dear brother?"

"Hm? Oh yes, I'm coming." He said while climbing into the bed and underneath the blankets. He laid behind me, and I behind Static. My eyes grew heavy, feeling something familiar. Knowing the lie that Noah has told is now six feet deep, I feel safe. Feeling that younger self finally had found peace.
