She took two sips of wine, not quite understanding what this was all about.

Chen Xinyu knew best of her friend and quickly explained, "We just had an interaction and thought it would be more lively with more people."

Saying that, she pointed at Lin Haoran and said, "Although we were all strangers before, but now we know each other, right?"

The crowd nodded, "Yeah, it's so much fun with many people, well people come to bars so they can make friends anyway."

That's just a half-truth.

In a bar, it's natural to chat, drink, and make friends with those you like.

Although Ji Qingying didn't know how Chen Xinyu had gotten acquainted with these doctors and nurses in such a short period of time, she was really compelled to give her a compliment from the bottom of her heart.

It's just too awesome.

Upon receiving her gaze, Chen Xinyu winked at her.

Ji Qingying raised her eyes and went to look at the man sitting next to Lin Haoran.

With all the buzz around him, he was downright quiet by himself.

Following her line of sight, Lin Haoran was also very much upfront: "I forgot to introduce you, this is my colleague, Dr. Fu Yanzhi."

Chen Xinyu curled her lips in a smile and quipped, "Is the hospital doctor's appearance quality already so high now?"

Fu Yanzhi raised his eyes and said softly, "Hello."

"Hello there."

Chen Xinyu laughed, "This is my best friend."

Fu Yanzhi looked sideways, looking up at the woman in front of him.

A matching warm-colored cheongsam outfit, which was made to look less monotonous and even a little brighter because of the small beads on the cheongsam.

His eyes paused, resting on her eyes for a few seconds, and he gave a slight nod, "Fu Yanzhi."

Ji Qingying sat down next to him, curved her lips and smiled, and said proactively, "We've already met before."

Hearing that, Lin Haoran was intrigued.

"You've already met each other? When?"

Ji Qingying didn't hide anything from everyone and said directly, "In the afternoon, he saved someone on the high-speed train."

At the words, Lin Haoran laughed, "What kind of mystical fates are you guys having?"

Ji Qingying was very happy to hear this.

She liked people who talked like Lin Haoran.

Hearing her words, Fu Yanzhi's expression was still bland, not showing any surprise or familiarity.

Ji Qingying didn't usually talk much, but she would be able to do so when she needed to.

With that in mind, she took it upon herself to find a topic that would be of interest to the man before her, "Did you tag along to the hospital?"

"Yes."

"The person should be perfectly fine, right?"

"Yes."

Ji Qingying: "......."

She couldn't think of any more topics.

Chen Xinyu listened to the conversation beside them and mourned for her best friend for three seconds.

A guy who couldn't pick up a conversation was really too hard to charm.

The two fell silent.

Ji Qingying turned her head to look elsewhere, and her phone on her lap suddenly vibrated.

Picking it up, it was a message from Chen Xinyu.

Chen Xinyu: [Little Sister, go for it, we'll help you if you really can't handle the burden].

Ji Qingying: [...]

She put down her phone, and when she unintentionally looked over her shoulder, she just happened to see Fu Yanzhi's phone screen.

She was so stunned that she had forgotten the "look away" part.

Fu Yanzhi didn't cover it up either, so it was just right on point.

Ji Qingying couldn't hold back and when she saw it again, she said, "Is this a cheongsam design?"

Fu Yanzhi looked at her.

Ji Qingying said voluntarily, "Sorry, I didn't mean to peek on purpose, I just accidentally saw it, and then I couldn't resist taking a second look."

Fu Yanzhi made a "hmm" sound, the same indifferent tone, but somehow, Ji Qingying sensed something else.

This guy, it seemed, was quite willing to have a chat about the design.

"Did you draw this?"

"No."

Ji Qingying said with a knowing "Oh", "Your friend drew this?"

Fu Yanzhi nodded, "Kind of."
