Chapter Ten- Happiness

~~Beth's point of view~~

Last night was amazing. It was everything that a wedding night should be. Chase was patient, attentive, and very loving. My heart is overflowing with love.

I woke up, and he was gone. I jump in the shower. He's not back when I get out.

I tidy up the room and read social media.

I get a text.

~~Text conversation~~

Chase: "Open the door, Babe."

Sent with Siri was under it.

~~End text conversation~~

I get up open the door. He's standing there with a tray of food in his hands.

Chase: "I need you to sit on the bed and close your eyes."

Beth: "Ok."

I sit down and cross my leg under me. I feel him set the tray down. Then I feel him sit on the bed.

Then I feel his breath on my ear.

Chase: "I love you."

Beth: "I love you too."

He kisses my cheek then whispers ...

Chase: "Open your eyes."

I see the tray in front of me has two identical plates.

Then my eyes land on what's in the middle of the tray. 

Beth: "Oh, Chase. They're stunning."

He takes them off the tray.

Chase: "Give me your hand."

I give him my left hand, and he slides them on my rings on my finger.

Happy tears fall.

Beth: "I love them, Chase. Thank you."
