READING HER BOOK in front of the fireplace, Venus couldn't help but let her mind wander to a mysterious black haired boy.

As she was about to get up, she suddenly remembered the redhead that was laying on her lap. Venus smiled sadly at herself, playing with his ginger curls as he was dozing off to sleep.

The green eyed girl took this moment to examine every single one of his features.

To the small bump on his nose to the last freckle on his chin.

She kept running her hand through his hair, enjoying this moment. She felt a tap on her shoulder only to find Sirius smiling at her.

"Hey Pads", she told him with a smile as he sat on the floor next to her. "Hey, we're going to the kitchen tonight. You want to join?", the black haired boy questioned as she nodded.

It caused Sirius's heart to beat against his chest a little faster.

"I just have to put this baby to bed, and I'll be all yours"

The words left her mouth before she could even think about it. "Woah there Arge, I didn't know we were like that", he said with a chuckle as she threw him a pillow.

"Piss off."

Hiding under the invisibility cloak, Venus could feel Sirius's hand on her hip as they were all squished together.

The thing is that Sirius, James and Remus were extremely tall, causing Venus to be smushed between all of the boys.

They were all tall and well built, making her small figure look even smaller.

"We could go a lot faster if you let someone carry you, deer", James stated with a smirk on his face causing him to get hit in the chest by Venus.

"If you lots could just-"

"shh"

Sirius stopped the girl from talking when he pressed a hand on her mouth. Rolling her eyes, she saw Filch walking towards them with his oil lamp.

"Who's there!", the man shouted his question causing the marauders to back away slowly.

"Venus? Venus, dear, is it you?", the man asked causing all eyes to look at the small girl between them.

The werewolf wanted to disappear, she wanted the ground to open and swallow her whole.

As Filch walked away, the marauders suddenly turned to look at the small girl in between them.

"What was that all about?", Remus asked slightly worried that his sister had fallen in love with Filch.

"I don't know what you're talking about", she said while trying to hide the embarrassing redness from her cheek.

"Merlin! Are you and Filch-"

"Godric no! Are you mental?"

She said as they all sighed in relieve.

"Wait...you thought that Filch-..I think I'm going to puke"

She stated while pressing a hand on her mouth causing the boys to chuckle softly.

"Why'd he call for you then?"

"Because in 3rd year, I flirted with him to get out of a detention"

She mumbled as Sirius chocked on his own spite.

"You won't flirt with me when I give you the change but you flirt with him?!", the Black asked in disbelief, earning himself an obscene gesture from the girl.

"First off I didn't want to flirt with him. It sorta happened", she defended as Remus couldn't help but laugh at the embarrassment his sister must've gone through.

The four of them drank butterbeer while chatting together as if they hadn't seen each other for years.

But even now, Venus couldn't shake the feeling of being next to Sirius.

Every time his arm would brush next to her, it would send long shivers down her spine.

If he wrapped his arms around her shoulders - like a best friend would - she would blush. "Winky, darling, what time is it?", Sirius questioned the little creature who looked down at her feet.

"4 in the morning, sir", she answered before walking away quickly. The marauders all looked at each other as Venus raised an eyebrow.

"Last one to the tower is a smelly rat!", Remus shouted before sprinting away, followed closely by James.

Venus couldn't help but laugh before realizing she was alone with Sirius.

"They're so mature", she told him which caused a smile on the boy's pale face.

"You can go after them, reckon you're quite the fast runner", she stated while getting up from her seat. "Oh no, it's okay. Plus, they left us this", he said while showing her the invisibility cloak.

"Idiots"

She whispered before getting under the fabric. The two teens had more space in between them but still somehow managed to get smushed together.

The girl suspected Sirius of being the reason behind it, but didn't say anything.

His hand was rested on her hip, directing her through the hallways as they tried to stay as silent as they could.

"V, you know I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get in between Prewett and you"

Sirius whispered after awhile as Venus's cheeks turned a deep shade of red.

"Oh-...y-yeah it's okay. We talked about it, it's all good"

She answered as the boy tightened his grip on her hip. "I'm still sorry. It was wrong of me", he said before the two of them stopped walking.

Venus turned to face him, as he held the cloak a little higher so she could look into his grey eyes. "I'm telling you, it's okay", she told him with a smile.

Pulling her into his chest, the boy wrapped his arms tightly around her shoulders. "I'm still sorry", he mumbled in her ear as she couldn't help the smile that was plastered on her face.

The boy couldn't help himself from thinking those same three words.

Over and over again.
