Shatter Me (flareon x glaceon)

Prologue

Third POV

Two pokemon were padding along the overgrowth of the dense woodlands surrounding them, they were on the lookout for a suitable den for their oncoming egg.

"are you sure these woodlands are suitable for raising a cub?" a leafeon asked her mate; as she had a unsure feeling of the unknown area.

"well....the overgrowth will help us find berries easier" the jolteon walking besides the leafeon answered

"but...isn't this balefire woods? I thought these woods were known for housing tons of fire type predators" the leafeon stated; now worried about the predators that may be lurking in the overgrowth around them.

"don't worry flora, the overgrowth will camouflage us against many predators, and if one of those pesky fire types pose a threat to my mate, they will get the shock of their lives." the jolteon said with confidence; now turning his head to the worried grass type.

"won't they just burn down the wildlife to get us, and what if....o-one of them get to our cub?" flora asked; now paranoid about the idea of getting their cub in harm's way.

"if we are careful, they would never get the opportunity to, and even if we encounter some of them, would they really burn down an entire area filled with plants and trees just to get some pray?" the jolteon stated in disbelief.

"b-but what i-if" flora started but got stopped when the jolteon started hugging her.

"calm down flora, we will raise our cub in the night, most fire types don't like nighttime, we will stay together when we search for berries and other helpful materials, I'll teach our cub how to defend itself, and if something happens... you're the best healer I know." the jolteon said; still hugging his worried mate

Flora calmed down "thank you ulfric" she said while looking into his eyes, now nuzzling him.

Ulfric nuzzled her back" we will get through this flora.... I promise."

They continued moving, picking some berries along the way while putting the collected berries in a bag made of large leafs, flora collecting them with her vine whip and ulfric carrying the makeshift leaf bag on his back

One hour later

after a long while, we saw some kind of settlement, many different pokemon were walking around the area minding their own business, as we watched them; we got the conclusion that they were preparing to survive in this area "should we ask them for help?" whispered flora .

"do you think they would attack us?" whispered ulfric

they continued watching, they noticed that there were a lot of different type of pokemon, from bug to flying, all working together with gathering recourses "they don't look hostile..... I think we should ask them." flora said to ulfric

Ulfric nodded; agreeing with flora

"stay behind me." ulfric said; getting up on all fours

As they got up, they started to slowly make their way to the group of pokemon, a leavanny noticing them first.

"do we know them" the leavanny asked to the rest of the group

"no, I don't think so" a buizel answered

"never seen them before" a sudowoodo stated

"they better not cause trouble" a excadrill said; watching their every move

"calm down excadrill they may be looking for a place to live just like us" a noctowl said to excadrill

"they better be" excadrill responded
