Things don't add up

Looking at the note I consider the points made.

 Why is there a need to fit me into their schedule? 

What incubation period would we be affected by?

What does he mean by 'boy talk'? Well, that I can guess at, and smirk considering the likely points made.

I look at the food, give it a sniff, and try some small bites of each thing. The tangy-sour veggies, almost pickled, are a too spicy for me. But the meat is savory, and I can avoid the chilies in the sauce by picking around them. The rice is filling and sweeter than I expected. 

Tapping my chin I open the fridge to see what's inside... wrong door! More of that spicy veggie concoction is loaded in from wall to wall, stuffing it full. Quickly closing that door I open the other side of the fridge... ahh, more normal ingredients.

I pull out some mushrooms, garlic, something that looks like spinach, and check the cabinets between the fridge and the stove. After a few opened cabinet doors I find the spices and oils, and quickly make a veggie concoction of my own. The stove is a gas stove, so it's easy enough to turn on and off. The pan on the stove works for what I need, and after eating I wash everything up and lay it out on a towel to dry next to the sink.

Only then do I go back to the note, rereading it and considering my response.

I appreciate your keeping me in mind when making plans. I will let you know if I need to add myself to what you have planned as I experience what these plans are. 

Please tell Seokjin thank you for the food. Like Taehyung I do not like spicy food, and the kimchi was out of my range of comfort... it was past even making my lips burn! I thank him for stocking the mushrooms and what I think was spinach though, as it made a tasty quick replacement.

I understand your need to talk things out together, and using the language you grew up with is expected. I don't need any of you to change that for me. Heck, this 'boy talk' you mention is likely not even going to surprise me, let alone offend me, but it is your right to decide what you are comfortable telling me. 

I understand that there is a health risk going on, and there is an incubation period to be concerned about. Did the news reports go into what the health risk is? And why only 2 weeks?

I heard  the quick padding of feet from the hallway, as if someone was trying to run silently. Smiling to myself I headed back to my hallway and to my room.
