When Taehyung and I finally changed our soul bond to the second level everyone noticed.

'Wait, did you just...' Namjoon asked, looking up from his conversation with Jungkook. Taehyung just nodded, chewing happily.

'Yeah, I can tell something is different too.' Yoongi said, getting up to rinse his dish. 'Why don't you call the doctor and see if this is expected.' With this suggestion Namjoon nods and walks away to grab his phone to make the call... leaving his plate wide open. I watch as the maknae line scavenge off of his plate before returning to theirs.

'So it's after hours there in the States, but he's setting up a Skype call. We need to be ready in about ten minutes. Yoongi, can you set up your laptop to get a view of the couches so we can all be in on this?' Namjoon returns quickly, scowling at his now empty plate. The maknae line just grin and chew.

'Yeah, no problem. Come on JK, you're helping me with the placement and sound.' Yoongi smacks the back of Jungkook's head, earning a snicker from me as he whines. With Seokjin smiling and winking at my humor at Jungkook's expense he clears the island of the last of the plates as everyone either gets dressed in what they consider appropriate clothes for Skype or just settle on the couches.

After everyone gets into a seat the app starts ringing and Yoongi accepts. The doctor shows up on screen, and either it's been a long day for him or it really is too late there to be doing this with how haggard he looks. It's shocking to everyone.

A quick flurry of Hangul, likely a greeting and concern for his health happens before they switch over to English.

'I have been following the outbreaks. You know that they've happened in each place...' the doctor starts saying.

'Yeah, we know. But there's a new development.' Namjoon interjects, almost loudly.

I glance at him, puzzled. He's not one to be impolite, so him cutting off the doctor is unusual.

'What changes have happened?' Curiosity sparks in the doctors eyes despite how tired he looks.

Each of the guys starts talking over each other, trying to relay their experiences. Well, except for Jungkook and I.

'Hold on!' I shout. 'He's not going to get anything from this chaos. In order of age, ten sentences or less... start.' 

Hoseok seems surprised at my taking control, but doesn't object as Seokjin gives him his experience, in Hangul.

'Wait, can you say as much as you can in English? I think I need her to corroborate if there's any difference from her perspective.' The doctor asks after Seokjin gives his narrative.

Puzzled and unsure Seokjin looks at Namjoon, hoping for some help, but Namjoon just smiles and shakes his head, motioning for him to proceed.

'Bond with jeobchog...' and makes the motion of masturbating. The blush to his ears is obvious to everyone, but no one dares to mock him, they all know it could happen on their turn.

'Agreed. Masturbatory contact initiated the change in the bond.' I try to be clinical about this, but it seems as if I am affected by discussing this too... I can feel myself start to flush.

After the doctor looks up from his notepad and nods. Yoongi adds in his, and I flush at his almost perfect English description of the experience mid-flight. This gets more than a few jealous looks, and he notices, grinning widely at their sour faces. 

I just turn more crimson and agree.

Hoseok's moment was more sweet and loving in its intimacy, and I can't help but smile at the memory.

'The cuddling may have initiated the option for the change, but the change really only happened with the kiss.' I add in. The doctor nods and looks to Namjoon... who blushes.

'Sexual contact.' He tries to get away with, but when I raise an eyebrow at him his cheeks dimple and he drops his head in embarrassment. 'Intercourse, and the glow didn't change until after the third orgasm for her.'

I just nod firmly, agreeing. Now everyone is jealous of Namjoon.

Jimin speaks brokenly, both language as well as emotionally. The need for the intimate conversation that made our change in the bond still a sore spot for him.

'Also, secrets were shared.' I add in. With that I could swear almost all of them had whiplash as they turned their heads from the laptop to me. Namjoon and Jimin smiled, almost smirking. I get the feeling that those secrets were going to be demanded after the call.

Taehyung talked about breakfast, and added in his understanding of how and why the bonds change. The doctor was scribbling furiously as he talked, asking him a couple of questions to clarify his observations.

'Honestly I would've expected Taehyung's bond to change earlier with how he liked to just be around me, but I think vicinity and companionship doesn't quite match up to intimacy, no matter the version.' Was my input. The doctor asked for examples of his companionship, and I brought up his fascination with seeing everyone's glow when he held my hand... and his penchant for doing this as often as he could.

With Jungkook blushing about his experience as he stumbled with his English I just nodded along, pointing out that his was the first one, and the reason for the first Skype after his initial meeting with us.

What has been your observation with all this, and what do you think changed?' The doctor asked me directly. It took me a moment's thought, but I tried to be as honest in my answer as possible.

'The changes have been from their side of the bond so far. I don't feel like I've been pulling my weight in this soul bonding, with them having to change, but I am just initiating and viewing. Now, with everyone now seeing the glows on each other... I don't know if this means that the bond goes through them as well to other members, but with how close they are it wouldn't surprise me.'

After a few moments of silence while the doctor finishes taking notes he looks up and takes a deep breath. 'This is the first multi-membered bond that I have seen, but it's not likely to be the last. I am not trying to turn you into lab rats, but any information you are willing to give will only help others as time goes on.' Everyone nods, wanting to help. 'As all the previous bonds I mentioned were one-to-one bonds this level of change was either not necessary or not noticed. I can't predict what's going to happen next, but if you need me please call me either eight hours from now or four hours earlier... please.' He seems stressed and exhausted, but wanting to help. We all nod and say our thank yous and good nights.

'Oh, and I have been named lead on the study of the explosion of soul-bonded that have happened within the last few months.'
