I left the nurse office and headed to the dinning hall. I had to face them. I knew the truth and I knew what I done, but I had to face them nonetheless.
As I walked in all eyes were on me. I decided not to where my mask anymore. I didn't want to remember anymore.
Aoi: Asu! I'm happy you're here!
She ran to me hugging me.
Asu: I'm happy to see you too.
Yasuhiro: Damn, you almost sound like a dude with your voice.
A small smile appeared on my face.
Celeste: I'm happy you're okay Dear.
Yasuhiro: Yeah, you gave us a fright!
Aoi: So now there's only seven of us here...
Kyoko: Loneliness has become commonplace.
Sakura: That's true... Makoto, are you okay?
Makoto: Ah-! N-No, I'm fine...!
Aoi: Okay! In that case, let's eat till we pass out!
Yasuhiro: Whaddya mean, "In that case"?
Aoi: Well, cuz look how scary everyone looks! It's gotta be cuz you're all fighting on empty stomach, right? If you fill your belly, I'm sure you'll all cheer up! So, let's eat!
Asu: Well I have in fact not eaten in a while. With everything that happened.
Aoi: Let's fry up some fish and donuts and eat till we can't stand up!
Yasuhiro: That's like a Deep Impact style, meteor impact, extinction level event combination of foods...
Aoi: Wat!? Those are both breakfast time top sellers!
Kyoko: Still, the "till we can't stand up" part is a problem. After we're done, we need to go explore.
Sakura: That's right. Since the class trial is over, new areas should have opened up...
Kyoko: Plus, we still have him. We don't have to give in to despair just yet.
Despair... I looked at the floor... Celeste placed her hand on my shoulder.
Makoto: She's right... We have to plan ahead and think about the future!
Aoi: Yeah, yeah! Think happy thoughts! Not deathy thoughts!
Yasuhiro: Like when we're gonna get outta here, right? When this is all over... I think I wanna get reborn for serious. Er- I mean, reborn AS someone serious...
Aoi: Hey, are you okay? That sounds like something someone who's about to die would say...
Yasuhiro: I'm totally okay! I'm not gonna die! Why? Cuz there aren'T gonna be any more murders!
Celeste: What makes you think there won't be any anymore?
Yasuhiro: I predicted it last night! Since it revealed itself, there's no doubt about it!
I looked at the floor... Everyone went quiet.
Yasuhiro: Don't worry! My predictions are 30% accurate!
Aoi: That seems... really low.
Yasuhiro: Well, yeah! It's not like it's ESP or whatever. Of course I'm only gonna get it right sometimes! I told you, my fortune-telling isn't like some occult thing!
