STOLEN HEARTS

Kirishima's pov

"How are you doing," I ask katsuki as we walk into the kitchen. This whole place seems abandoned

"I have a lock on everyone, they're entering the knight's quarters now" he explains. Ok, everything is going to plan so far.

"Hizashi!" Katsuki exclaims.

"What?"

"He's coming, we need to hide" we duck under the table right before Hizashi walks into the room.

"Come on out pesky flies" he taunts. Hizashi already knows we're here?!

"Stay down, no matter what" katsuki whispers. Hizashi leaves the room reluctantly, we all let out a sigh.

"We gotta move before he comes back," I say, crawling out from under the table. I reach my hand down to help Shoto while Katsuki gets up on his own.

"Kat, how are we doing," I ask, grabbing his hand.

"I'm fine, so are the others," he says, rubbing his fingers against my knuckles. We lock eyes and for a moment, everything freezes. Then it crashes down, just like Katsuki's limp body onto me.

"Katsuki!!" I exclaimed, catching him in my arms.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I'm going to be able to keep tracking them for much longer," he says weakly.

"Katsuki, hold on, Shoto get me some water and food, preferably a bread-based item" I order. Shoto runs off to get what I asked.

"Hold on Kat"

"They're leaving the quarters now," he says, Katsuki's words slightly slurred. This is too much for him!

"Kat, stop tracking them," I say frantically.

"No, we have to get out of here, I need to keep pushing" Katsuki's eyes glow, a bright orange. Small explosions pop off his hands as I hold him. Scary...

"Kat please you're scaring me," I say.

"I-I'm sorry" his eyes return to their normal red shade and the explosions die down.

"I'm sorry" he buries his head into my arms.

"Katsuki..." I say as Shoto comes back with a glass of water.

"Here" he holds the cup to Katsuki's lips. Katsuki takes a drink then shuts his eyes. A wave of air hits me in the stomach, it's like the life is being sucked out of me.

"Mm somethings wrong," Katsuki mumbles.

"I-I can't breathe" I wheeze through whatever is hitting me.

"Eijiro, katsuki, what's happening"

My wings pop out of my back and claws begin to grow.

No no no not on here, not now. What is going on? The shifting spell was stable!!

"Eijiro!!" I let out a scream of pain as my body morphs into my dragon form. It shouldn't be this painful!!

Then I start to morph back into a human. Ok, what the hell is going on?! I lie on the ground, panting and drenched in sweat in my human form.

"Eijiro, what's happening" Shoto's exclaims.

"Magic, it's failing" it's like everything is being taken away. My entire body is on fire.

"Eijiro!!" Shoto cries as my body starts to shift again.

"Check on katsuki!" I say through the searing heat flooding me.
