RYA JOLTED FROM HER  sleeping position, the sound of a door clacking on it's frame waking her up from her slumber.

She rubbed her eyes tiredly to get the immense fatigue out of them because of the lack of proteins she had in her body. They merely gave her a bowl of soup twice a day. The very first day she had woken up in this place, they had fed her a chicken sandwich but she spit it out on one of the guards that kept looking at her in a way she didn't appreciate. From then on, they only served her soup because she was- in Alfonso's words- a bratty little kid that did not deserve his kindness. She had almost wanted to snort at that, but she refrained, scared that they would take away the soup too.

A guard she recognized entered the room with Rick following in toe, a big, nasty smirk on his face. He approached her rapidly, almost skipping. He seemed excited to see her which, as much as she didn't want it to, scared her to death.

Once he was in front of her, he suddenly crouched down, resting his hands on his knees, the both now face to face.

Unlike what he had expected, Rya had not cried in front of him yet, it was something he rejoiced in, the deep and pain filled cries of his victims. Though Rya appeared to be one of those. The ones that do not cry as to not satisfy the deeply deranged man that held them captive. He could see through her nevertheless, the fear that was practically carved into her eyes.

It made him unnecessarily giddy.

"Hello Rya. How are you feeling today?" He asked in a cheerful tone, his smirk only growing in size when she sent a cold glare towards him. Almost chuckling, he took his hands whose nails had what looked like to be dried blood underneath them and tried to lightly touch her face. Unfortunately for him, she quickly tucked her face in the crevice of her knees, hoping he would fuck off and leave her alone today.

The moment he saw her reaction was when he let out the deep chuckle he had been keeping in earlier. She never failed to amuse him, this girl.

Goosebumps appeared on her skin because of his creepy laugh, one that reminded her of someone she once knew. Someone that she didn't particularly wish to think about in the presence of the devil reincarnated.

Rya blinked away the tears that threatened to creep out of her red eyes. She lifted her head once again and gave him the most menacing glare she could conjure up, though it did not necessarily affect him much.

She rolled her eyes to the very back of her head, hoping they would get stuck there and she wouldn't have to take in his abominable face anymore.

He tutted out at her, shaking his head as if disappointed. "What did I tell you about rolling your eyes at me girl?" nothing but deep and sick amusement shined in his eyes.

When she didn't respond like he wanted to, he clenched his jaw in annoyance but continued to rile her up, "Well 'm just 'ere to wish you a very Merry Christmas. I'm very sorry you couldn't spend it with your family. Quite unfortunate isn't it?" He grinned again, his shining silver tooth standing out amongst his otherwise yellow tinted ones.
