JORDAN MINERVA, THE assistant director of the MI6 London division, was marching down the halls of the police precinct with one goal in mind.
As he walked in a fast and confident pace, police officers stared, in somewhat confusion and apprehension. They knew he had no business being here, in a police station. He was higher up the hierarchy to be involved in such mesely cases like the one Christian Bell starred in.
Two detectives in the building were aware of what he had done in the past couple of months and unfortunately, were sworn to secrecy by the malevolent act of blackmail, or threatening more so to say. Because if money had been offered, who was to say that they wouldn't betray the people that cashed them for the next higher payer. With threatening, and blackmail came fear, an emotion no human could run away from and an emotion that humans tend to let control them. Furthermore, those actions obliged the person concerned to take part in whatever was required of them because of said fear.
Finally arriving before the door of the interrogation room, he raised his hand and hit the door roughly four times as to alert the man inside that he was the one coming in. He opened the door with his large hands and stepped inside the small space that smelled something akin to a sewerage.
With a cough because of the repugnant odor, he stepped forward and made his way to sit down on the chair facing opposite Rick Alfonso.
The brute smirked at him, realizing what was going to happen now. He leaned forward in his seat, his yellowy teeth now on show because of the uncharacteristic wide smile on his face that replaced the smirk.
"Do you have the keys to unlock these things?" He asked while ratling his bounded hands, too much hope filled his voice and it was Minerva's turn to smirk this time.
"I can't get you out" He said simply with a neverminding shrug of his sculpted shoulders.
Confused, Alfonso frowned at the assistant director "What do you fucking mean, you can't?" He breathed out harshly through clenched teeth.
"Exactly what I said." He chuckled a laugh full of amusement, "You're really a simple minded block aren't you?" He shook his head left and right, not even attempting to hide his merriment at the situation.
Still confused, he stammered an incoherent sentence, feeling as if the world was slowly crashing down on him.
He refused to further show weakness to Jordan Minnerva who was even more dispicable than himself. After all, he had joined Rick's plan for the mere reason that Christian was slowly but surely climbing ranks at the agency and he heard through a grapevine of people that he was being considered for the position of assistant director to replace the sad excuse of one that he was.
Jordan knew he could not let such a thing happen, he far too enjoyed the privileges that came with his position and few people trusted him to actually work, therefore his job was all the more easier for him. He knew he would struggle to find another employment like this one– where he had to do jack shit and still get a payment at the end of the month.
