Later that week, Eleanora sat at the dining room table with Tonks and Mrs. Weasley, sipping pumpkin juice and going over wedding plans. The didn't have any concrete details yet, but they weren't planning on having it for another year. Eleanora and Bill had tried to have it as soon as possible, but had to compromise with Molly. In the end, everyone was happy with the decision. It gave Eleanora and Bill longer to make the plans they wanted and Molly had more time to process everything. "Do you want to have it here?" Mrs. Weasley asked, a motherly smile on her lips. Since her talk with Eleanora the other night, she'd gone back to how she usually was.

"Ooh, yes," said Eleanora enthusiastically. "We could do it in the garden."

Tonks, who had been uncharacteristically quiet throughout the conversation, perked up at this. "We could have flowers everywhere," she gushed, the usual spark coming back to her eyes. "I learned how to braid them into hair last summer- oh, it would be so pretty."

"That would be perfect," said Eleanora, a starry expression in her eyes. The three women sat in dreamy silence for a minute, and then there was a knock on the kitchen door. "Who is it?" Eleanora called, more out of obligation than anything. In the middle of the afternoon, she highly doubted any Death Eater would come knocking on the door of the Burrow.

"Cillian Marks," a voice came from the other side. Eleanora reconsidered her previous thoughts. She opened the door, coming face to face with her father.

"Dad, hey," she said in a flat voice. She was never sure exactly where she stood with Cillian. He'd been visiting about once a week since he moved back into Marks Manor to see his daughters, but only Daisy spent time with him. Eleanora usually said hello and then excused herself to hang out with Bill or the twins.

"Eleanora!" Cillian said, far more cheerfully than usual. To Eleanora's surprise, her father swept her into a tight hug. "Congratulations!" Over Cillian's shoulder, Eleanora caught Mrs. Weasley's eye and saw her shrug with a knowing smile. Of course Mrs. Weasley had been the one to tell Cillian. "I can't believe it," Cillian continued, "My little girl all grown up and- and getting married!"

Eleanora's smile faded but she let her father hug her for a moment longer. "Thanks, Dad," she said when she was finally released. "And-um, thanks for giving Bill the ring."

Cillian's eyes brightened when he caught sight of Eveline's old wedding ring on Eleanora's finger. "She would've wanted you to have it."

At that moment, there was a thundering on the stairs and Daisy leapt off the landing followed closely by Fred and George, who were visiting for the afternoon. Daisy was waving an envelope in her hand and when she saw her father, she shrieked, "My letter! I've gotten my letter!"

As she jumped into Cillian's arms, the twins stood on either side of Eleanora. "It's like she didn't think she'd get in," George chuckled.

"It'll be weird without her around, though," said Fred.

"She'll be the brightest witch of generation," Tonks said, joining the group.

Eleanora gazed at her sister with so much love and pride in her expression. Daisy had been looking forward to going to Hogwarts since the day Eleanora had gotten her first Hogwarts letter. Eleanora knew she'd be one of the smartest in her year, but that wasn't what she was mainly happy about. Daisy would be safe now. She'd be with Dumbledore, and Eleanora knew no harm could come to her sister at Hogwarts.

"El! El!" Daisy cried, turning to hug Eleanora. "Think I'll be in Gryffindor? Think I'll pass my classes- oh, could I get an owl of my own?"

"Whatever you want, Dais," said Eleanora, hugging her little sister.

"And anything you want from the shop for free," George chimed in.

"That's right," said Fred, "Now that we're gone, someone's got to live up to our standards." Daisy only giggled, but Eleanora saw her slip a dung-bomb into Fred's jacket pocket as she hugged him. She'd never been so proud.

"Eleanora-" Cillian said, his voice suddenly serious. "Could I have a word? Outside?"

Eleanora nodded and followed her dad out into the garden. When Cillian turned to her, she could see that his face was full of sudden anticipation. "What's up?" she asked.

"I wanted to talk to you about Daisy," Cillian said in a low voice. "I know she has a good home here, and I know she likes staying here, but-" he shifted from foot to foot, "-I was wondering if there's any way she could come live with me."

"Live with you?" Eleanora echoed, a disapproving note in her voice. "Why?"

Cillian let out a deep sigh. "I want to be a better father for her than I was for you. I don't want to make the same mistakes-"

"Dad, the mistakes are already made," said Eleanora.

"Then I want to correct them. I know it's too late for you to ever see me as a real father- and for good reason," he added quickly. "You have every right to not trust me, Eleanora, I abandoned you when you needed the exact opposite and I'll admit that-"

"You abandoned Daisy too," Eleanora said calmly.

"I know I did, but with Daisy I think- I think I can make things right again." His eyes were pleading. "Just part time, El. I could take her on- on weekends or one day a week, or holidays after she goes to school. Whatever you're okay with. I'm leaving this up to you."

Eleanora shook her head. "It's not up to me. It's up to Daisy. You both know where I stand on all of this, but Daisy's old enough to make the decision for herself. I'm not going to get in the way of what she wants."

"Thank you Eleanora," Cillian said, sounding relieved.

Eleanora gave a relenting nod. "It's for her, Dad. Not you."

Later that summer, Eleanora went with Harry, Ron, Ginny, Daisy, and Mrs. Weasley to get the student's school things. Cillian met them there and offered to help Daisy get her things, so Eleanora decided to spend her day with the twins at the store. When she let herself in, she saw that Fred and George were talking to their assistant, Verity, who was looking extremely confused.

"What needs done, George?" Fred was asking, a familiar mischievous glint in his eye.

George's mouth twitched into a half smile. "Well, George, the shelves in the front need stocked."

"Do they really, George?"

"Yeah, George."

Verity looked back and forth between the twins with wide eyes. Eleanora approached them from behind and jumped over the counter, pushing Fred's head forward as she did so. "You two are idiots," she said drily. "Verity, d'you mind stocking those shelves in the front? I noticed they were low when I came in."
