Bill was discharged from the hospital a few days after the attack, but was instructed to take it easy for the time being. The healers said he could do mild activity, but Mrs. Weasley and Eleanora refused to let him leave his bed. Eleanora kept him supplied with books and the latest news from the Order, but he was getting more and more bored by the day. "Eleanora," he said one afternoon, setting the Daily Prophet he'd been reading on the bedside table, "That's the fourth disappearance this week, and it's only Thursday."

"I know." Eleanora bit her thumbnail and stared out the window with worried, tired eyes. She'd picked up more patrol hours and started volunteering for every mission she could for the Order. Lupin had tried to argue that she needed rest too, but Moody surprisingly sided with her.

"She's not a kid anymore," he said gruffly at an emergency meeting the night after the attack. "And we need all the help we can get. Marks knows her limits."

Eleanora wasn't so sure of this, but she appreciated him vouching for her. "I've got to get back out there," Bill said, his expression pleading. "Just patrol duty, El. I can't sit up here and do nothing anymore."

"You know you can't. And I don't have any say in the matter anyways. Molly would kill both of us." She leaned over Bill to grab the Daily Prophet back and opened it up to the page on the recent disappearances. "They keep glossing it over," she muttered, raking her fingers through her hair angrily. "They won't report what's actually going on."

"Hey," Bill pulled the newspaper out of her hands. "Take a night off, okay? You haven't been sleeping." Bill hated how the Order kept Eleanora out all night, and then she spent her days caring for him. He tried to get her to relax during the days, but it wouldn't happen.

"Can't," Eleanora said shortly. "Moody's taking me on an overnight mission."

Bill perked up. "Where?"

"Lestrange house."

"What... what are you doing there?"

Eleanora shrugged. "Bunch of stuff. Mostly spying, trying to get them back in Azkaban or find some of the people who disappeared. I'm not sure about the specifics yet, we've got a de-briefing in..." She checked her watch, "half and hour."

"That sounds dangerous-" Bill's sentence was cut off by a short, but violent fit of coughing.

"Are you okay?" Eleanora asked, adjusting the pillows to prop Bill up more. "Did you take your potion this morning? When's your next treatment?"

"Yes, yes, and tomorrow." Bill rested his hand on the small of Eleanora's back. "Be careful tonight, okay?" Eleanora nodded and rubbed at her face, trying to wake herself up a bit. She'd been living off of coffee and leftovers for days now.

"Yeah... I'll be with Moody anyways." Eleanora took her hand away from her face and managed to give Bill a tired half smile. "I should get over there," she said, giving him a quick kiss before pulling herself out of bed and starting towards the door.
