"Oh Bill," Eleanora said in a hushed voice, running her fingers lightly under the thin cut he'd received on his way home from work. "I'm going to kill Rosier."

Bill shook his head frustratedly. "I'm just sick of them jumping out at us all the time. Feels like you can't go anywhere anymore." He winced as Eleanora's fingers grazed the injury and he gently moved her hands away.

"I know, love," Eleanora sighed. "It's getting worse. Alright..." she dusted her hands off on her jeans, "I have some roots growing in the back that'll fix this in no time. Wait here."

She grabbed a basket from the shelf and let herself out the garden door, walking a few feet away to her herb garden. Nothing much was growing since the winter was only just ending, but the roots in question could sprout through just about anything. She'd just started her first week of training at the apothecary in Hogsmeade, and the man who owned it kept giving her various plants to grow at Shell Cottage.

Eleanora knelt on the mud and snow covered ground and started plucking the little leaves from the ground and setting them down in the basket. Just as she was finishing up, she heard a pop from the top of the hill and jumped, pulling out her wand immediately. There was a group of figures at the top of the hill of various heights, one leaning against another, one holding a small shape in his hands. "It's us!" someone called, and Eleanora immediately realized who it was.

"Bill!" she shouted into the house, setting the basket of roots on the front stoop. "Bill, come quick!"

Then, she jogged quickly up the hill. She was surprised at the odd assortment in the group, but she didn't let it phase her. Ron, Luna Lovegood, Dean Thomas, and Ollivander all looked relatively unscathed. Hermione, on the other hand, was leaning against Ron, unable to keep herself upright. Eleanora recognized the symptoms immediately as the after-effects of the Cruciatus curse. Dean was supporting a creature too, and Eleanora was surprised to see Griphook the goblin, someone she had seen in years. Despite all of this, Eleanora went to Harry first. He was kneeling on the ground, a small house-elf tucked in his arms. The elf had a knife lodge deep in his chest and Eleanora could tell there was nothing she could do to cure an injury this deep. Harry was staring at the wide, glassy eyes of the elf and murmuring, "Dobby... Dobby..." over and over again.

The next time Eleanora looked over her shoulder, Bill was there. She stood and immediately sprang into action. "Ron, can you get Hermione inside? I'll be down in just a second-"

"Yeah." Ron nodded at her solemnly and wrapped an arm around Hermione's waist. Eleanora was reminded vividly of the many times Bill had done the same for her after fights with Stephen or attacks by Death Eaters. She bit down on her lip and looked back at the rest of the group.

"Are you okay?" she asked Dean and Luna, who seemed to be the least injured of the group.

They nodded. "We're fine, but Ollivander needs rest," Luna said in a less airy voice than usual.
