Mia woke up and smiled. She knew that she and cal had ended up had ended up having sex and she knew that they had been through a lot and she knew that they had Aaliyah together and she knew that Aaliyah was ill but she knew that despite everything that she still loved cal even after all the alexia drama.

Mia sighed as she stood from her bed and walked into the kitchen as she started to make a coffee as she felt an arm wrap around her waist and pulled her close, Mia smirked as she turned around to waist cal and wrapped her arms around his neck as he pulled her close and kissed her

"hey" she said

"hi" he said

"so last night" Mia said as cal nodded

"it was great, any regrets?" He asked as she looked to him and sighed

"no, I mean I know we ended for a reason but I know I love you and I know I want to make it and we have Aaliyah together and I miss us" Mia said as cal smiled

"I know I messed up and I know I hurt you and I will forever regret that but I want to do all I can to fix it, to fix us" he said as Mia nodded

"I want to try too, I do but I know whatever we do it won't be easy" Mia said as cal looked to her and nodded

Mia stood in the NICU as cal walked in. She looked to him and frowned

"where have you been?" She asked

"I went to talk to Alexia I wanted to sort things and apologise after all that happened" cal said as she looked to him and smiled as he walked over to her and smiled

"how's our girl" cal asked as Mia looked to him and smiled

"she's doing great. They think we can take her home next week as long as she puts on a little weight. I can't wait to take her home and finally be her mum as I feel like I am trapped her" Mia said as cal looked to her and smiled

"I know, I know it's hard but she is a fighter and we are going to take her home and we are going to be a family. It's what we need" cal said as Mia smiled as she rested her head in his shoulder.

Mia knew they everything was a mess and she knew that things were going to be far from easy but Aaliyah was finally healthy enough to go home and Mia knew that she and cal were willing to try again and do things right and Mia knew it would be a challenge but she knew she wanted to do it

Mia smiled as she saw alexia as she stood by reception with Iain

"Can we talked" Mia said as alexia looked to her and nodded

"of course, is everything okay" alexia asked

"I was going to ask you that, I know cal talked to you and I want to give it a go again right him as long as your okay with it I know a lot happened with you two" Mia said as alexia smiled

"mi, I am fine and cal makes you happy go and be happy" alexia said as Mia smiled but could she and cal really start over after everything?
