Mia smiled as she sat next to Gracie side as cal walked in. She looked to him and smiled

"so do you want to talk over what happened with us" he asked as she looked to him and smiled

"we kissed cal, it's not a big deal" she said as cal looked to her and smiled

"your really going to say that. Mi, we have been through so much together and we have a child. I know that I hurt you with everything with alexia and I am sorry but I love you and we have a child" cal said as Mia looked to him and smiled

"I know cal. We have both made mistakes. I am the reason she is here as I ran off and I got in the accident but right now it's her. It's her I want to focus on. Gracie is important and I just want her to get better so that we can get her home" Mia said as cal looked to her and smiled as he placed a hand on her shoulder and smiled

"I know look we will get her better and get her home. She's put on some weight and she's in less oxygen and she will be fine" he said as she looked to him and smiled

Mia sighed as she walked through the hospital and smiled as she saw alexia

"cal came to see me" alexia said as Mia looked to her and frowned

"he did?" Mia asked as alexia nodded

"he wanted to apologise for all that happened and he said he will sign his rights over to Iain if it's what I want" alexia said as Mia looked to her and smiled

"cal is a good guy we made a mistake but he does love you and Gracie. He is worried about her and he wants to make it work. With you. You are good together and I know that you still love him. Follow your heart, I know he is a good guy and I know that you still love him" alexia said as Mia looked to her sister and sighed

"it's not that simple lex"

"because I don't want him to break my heart again and I don't trust him not to hurt me and Gracie" Mia said as alexia smiled

"he's a dad he's changed and you know he has" alexia said as Mia sighed

"no. She's all you beautiful" cal said as she placed a hand on his arm and smiled

"we can do it. We can raise her and do this" cal said as Mia smiled "we need time. Then maybe we can talk about trying again with us" Mia said as she smiled

"really?" Cal asked as Mia nodded

"we need to take it slow, we need to do it right" she said as he smiled as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled but could Mia and cal really try again?
