Mia walked into the hospital and smiled as she saw cal as he stood next to Gracie bedside

"how is she?" Mia asked as cal looked to her and smiled

"she's strong, and a fighter just like her mum but she is going to be okay" cal said as Mia walked over to her baby and smiled as she looked to her.

"She looks like you, she has your eyes" Mia said

"I think that she looks like you" cal said as he wrapped an arm around her waist. Mia knew it was complicated and it was hard with her and cal and she knew that she was ready to start again.

She still loved him and they had shared a kiss and she knew it made her think over how much that she loved him.

"Can we talk?" Mia asked as cal looked to her and smiled

"of course" he said as she looked to him and placed a hand on top of his

"I know that it's not easy with us, I know it never has been but we have a child together and even after everything I still love you and if you want to. I want to try again" Mia said as cal looked to her and smiled as he pulled her close and kissed her

Mia walked into the staffroom and smiled as she saw Alexia and smiled

"you look tired, are you okay?" Alexia asked as Mia nodded

"I'm good, I am. I mean I know it hasn't been easy but Gracie is getting strong and she is putting on weight and they think that she can come home in a few weeks" Mia said as Alexia looked to her and smiled

"that's great" alexia said as Mia looked to her and smiled.

"There's something else I know that there is still drama over you and cal and all that happened but we have decided to try again. Is that okay with you?" Mia asked as alexia rolled her eyes

"cal and I had a one night stand and yes I'm pregnant but cal and I are okay and I told you to give him another chance. You don't need to ask, it's fine. You and cal are made for each other you were just too stubborn to admit it. It's going to be okay" alexia said as Mia looked to her and smiled.

Mia knew that after everything that she wanted to make it work and be a family for Gracie sake

Mia sighed to herself as she got back home to her flat. She heard a knock at the door and stood up and answered it and smirked as she saw cal

"what are you doing here?" She asked

"we're meant to be resting but I'm not tired boy really" he said as she looked to him and smirked

"that's funny neither am I" Mia said as he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her close and kissed her.

Mia pulled him into the flat as the kiss got more passionate. She pulled him towards the bedroom as they stripped off.

He pushed her onto the bed and climbed on top of her and pulled her close as he pushed into her. Mia moaned at the contact as he started to move in and out of her.

Mia dug her nails into his back and moaned. But would this be the start of the fresh start that they both wanted?
