the one after the death

 I hear a knock again and the door opens slowly, Tonks pops her head in and smiles at me

"How are you?" She asks tossing me a biscuit

I catch it and sit up to look at her

"It hurts, why does it hurt so bad?" I ask as she sits down.

"They're doing the remembrance ceremony in a few days, Do you want to go?" She asks ignoring my question

I nod and lay back down playing with the biscuit in my hands. I wait for her to close the door before I open the window and stare out at the stars. I stick my hand out and Feel a heavy fluff. I look up to see Moon.

"Hello old girl, What are you doing here?" I ask stroking her feathers gently

I see a rolled up note attached to her foot and take it. I unroll it and see that it's from McGonagall.

I run down the stairs to the kitchen with Moon sitting on my shoulder now, I see Sirius sitting at the table with, Remus and Tonks. I throw the letter down on the table.

"I'm going to send Moon to Ginny, so She's taken care of properly. If Fred sends anything please tell me" I say before letting moon fly out of the kitchen window

I walk out of the kitchen and up to my room. I turn the light out and Lay down on my bed. I curl up into a ball and close my eyes trying to keep the tears from falling.

The next week was spent in my room, I didn't talk to anyone. I didn't eat anything and I didn't dare come out for any reason.The day of the remembrance ceremony I decided to get up and be a real person. I dressed in a black t-shirt and a black pair of jeans, I even went down for breakfast. I was told that I didn't have to go but I wanted to see how everyone was getting along without me. After Lunch Lupin, Tonks and I apparate to Hogwarts and walked down the hall towards the Great hall to sit with everyone. Snape stared at me the entire time even though I was in disguise. Everyone sat in chairs , in rows. I saw Fred holding hands with Katie bell as they both just sat there like nothing happened. Dumbledore cleared his throat and stood in front of the room look around at everyone.

"Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Elissabeth Potter was, as you all know exceptionally hard working, Infinitely fair minded, and most importantly, a fierce, fierce friend. Therefore, I feel you have the right to know exactly how she died. You see Elissabeth Potter was murdered by Lord Voldemort. The Ministry of Magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so would be an insult to her memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, and reminds us, that though we may come from different countries and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one. In light of recencent events, the bonds of friendship made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that, and Elissabeth Potter will not have died in vain. You remember that, and we'll celebrate a girl who was Kind, and Honest, and Brave, and True. Right to the very end. Elissabeth was a person who exemplified many of the qualities which distinguish both Gryffindor and Slytherin house, she was a good and loyal friend, a hard worker, she valued fair play. Her death has affected you all, whether you knew her well or not. She will not be forgotten not now, not ever. Her memory will always be apart of hogwarts" Dumbledore says

I wipe the tears from my eyes and I look at Tonks. She wipes the tears from her eyes and wraps her arm around my shoulder. I look back and try to find Fred and Ginny again. I see Katie kiss Fred and I lose it. I start sobbing and walk out of the hall and apparate back to Number twelve Grimmauld place, I go in and slam my bedroom door and scream at the top of my lungs. I keep screaming until I can't breathe anymore. I cry and kick thing around my room as I scream. I got so mad that I punched a hole in the door.

Sirius opens the door and pulls me into a hug. I hit his chest and scream, he just holds me and eventually I just stop moving as I cry in his arms. He rubs my back and lets me cry. After a while I stop crying and he lets me go, tucking the hair behind my ear and looking at me.

"How about I make us some tea?" He asks

I nod and he leaves closing the door behind him. I change back into my sweatpants and Sweater before I pull my hair up into a messy bun and go downstairs to the kitchen. I sit down at the center island in the middle of the kitchen and Sirius slides me a cup of tea. I take it and blow on it before taking a sip.

"You want to tell me where all that came from?" He asks

I set my cup down and look at him.

"When you let someone go does that mean you're done loving them?" I ask

"No. It means that you love them too much to keep holding on to that person" Sirius says

"Fred and Katie kissed. I just don't understand why it hurts. Why does it hurt so much?" I ask letting the tears slip down from my eyes

"Because it was real. You really loved him and seeing him with someone else made you question everything, but when I told you to let him go, you never really did" Sirius answers

"I tried, I really did" I say wiping the new tears that were falling

Sirius rubs my back and I take another sip of my tea. I hear the front door open and whispers as the footsteps get closer.

"Remus, I think we should send her up now" Tonks says as she opens the door.

She comes in with Charlie and Lupin. I take another sip of my tea and look at Charlie.

"Can we go to Romania now?" I ask

He smiles and nods his head. I go upstairs and grab my suitcase before coming back to the kitchen.
