Oliver Wood and I walk down the stairs to go to the quidditch field. I grab Harry's broom from the broom shed while Oliver grabs the quaffle chest and his broom.
"Remember Lis, keep your eye on the bludger and maybe don't kill me" Oliver shouts before flying up next to me. He hands me a bat and flies towards one of the goal posts as a bludger flies towards me I swing and hit it away from me.
"Oi Wood trying to replace us are you?"
"Fred, George, why don't you join us. Show Lis a thing or two" Wood shouts as the bludger flies at me again
Fred and George run down the stands and onto the field with Ginny. They all fly up around me. We all play a game of quidditch and I feel a little better.
"Hey lissy can we try something?" Ginny asks
I nod my head and she flies down towards the boys who are fastening the bludgers back in the chest. She talks to them for a second and they all nod. Oliver looks up at me before letting a small ball fly out of his hands.
I watch as it flies up and around my head before flying away. I fly after it trying to grab it but I lose sight of it going around the house stands. I finally catch it when it flies right in front of me before I fall off my broom and land on my back.
I hold it up to the guys and Ginny. "Did I win?"
Fred helps me up and I brush off the dust. They all look at me smiling
"What?" I ask giving Oliver the snitch
"You can see it too?" they all ask together
"The snitch yeah, I thought everyone could see it" I answer playing with the broom handle.
"Not just anyone can see it love, Only those destined to be seekers" Fred jokes
I smile and start walking to sit in the stands when Fred grabs my hand. I don't know why but I think I'm starting to like spending time with the Weasley kids especially Fred and George.
"Oi Weasley, Are you flirting with my girlfriend?" Someone yells from the the Slytherin stands
We all look up and see Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle looking back at us. I let go of Fred's hand and run up to Malfoy and jump into his arms. He spins me around and I giggle like a child.
"You were so amazing" Malfoy tells me
"Thanks. I didn't know I could play but it's actually really fun" I say when he puts me down
He puts me down and I grab his hand leading him back to the others.
"As captain of the Gryffindor quidditch team, Elissabeth potter I want you to play goalkeeper with me and you can be emergency Seeker in case Harry ever gets hurt" Oliver says
"Guy's I don't know anything about Quidditch" I lie
Everyone looks at me and smiles, I just stand there not sure what to say. Malfoy grabs my hand and squeezes it tightly
"Quidditch is awesome but I don't want to live in Harry's shadow my entire life. As much as I want to play, I'm gonna pass. I want to play on a team where people are going to notice me" I say looking at Draco.
Everyone nods and I thank Wood for the game and walk back towards the Castle with Crabbe, Goyle and Malfoy.
"You know Slytherin could always use a new seeker" Goyle tells me, breaking the silence
"Don't you have to be in Slytherin to play for the Slytherin quidditch team?" I ask
"Yes, Pretty sure" Crabbe answers
