I walk to Malfoy and He puts his arm around my shoulder as we return to class. We have potions together again and Snape puts us in a pair. Malfoy and I goof off a little while we wait for everyone else to come in.
Harry, Ron and Hermione come in with our friends and Snape starts class. Snape tells us that we're making Amortentia. It's supposed to be some sort of love potion.
"I'll be right back I'm going to check on Crabbe and Goyle, see how they are"
"Okay I'm going to finish this" I say adding the last ingredient in. "Professor Snape, Draco and I have finished"
Snape comes and picks up our beaker. He swirls it around and smells it before handing it to me
"What do you smell Ms. Potter?" he asks me
I take a whiff and smile.
"I smell a new deck of playing cards, Fire, and Cinnamon" I say
Ginny starts laughing and I look at her confused. She comes over and sits down, "Do you know who you smelled?" she asks
I shake my head no and she looks behind her quickly to make sure no one was listening
"You smelled Fred" Ginny says not so quietly.
Ron and Harry cough loudly and we turn to look at them
"Did you just say she smelt Fred?" Ron asks as ginny stands up
Malfoy comes and sits back down next to me and I go bright red. Everyone goes back to their own things.
"You alright?" He asks
"Oh yeah, I'm fine. How are Crabbe and Goyle?" I ask to change the subject, trying to hide my face.
"So, Are we still meeting up tonight?" Malfoy asks grabbing my hand
"No. I have to talk to someone" I say, trying not to look at him.
I know where Sirius Black is. I got an owl at breakfast this morning saying he was here. I just don't know if I should tell Harry yet. I mean Harry has a right to know that Sirius didn't kill Mum and Dad but knowing Harry and Sirius, they could kill each other if given the chance.
"Lissabeth, you're in your head again. Is everything alright?" Malfoy asks concerned
"I Know where Sirius is" I blurt out not thinking
Harry, Hermione, Ron all get up and come to me. Malfoy goes back over to Crabbe and Goyle so we can talk
"How do you know where He is?" Ron asks
"I got a letter this morning. Harry you have to understand, Sirius Black didn't help Voldemort kill Mum and Dad. Someone named Peter Pettigrew sold them out and Sirius got blamed when Pettigrew disappeared, actually he didn't disappear. He turned himself into a rat, Ron's rat to be exact" I say
"What?" They all ask confused
"Ron, Scabbers is missing a toe correct?" I ask
"Yeah, so" Ron says waiting for me to continue
"So, when Peter Pettigrew disappeared the only thing they found was a finger. Scabbers turned up about the same time he disappeared. I mean come on put two and together guys" I say
"So what does this have to do with Sirius?" Harry asks
"Harry, Sirius Black is our godfather. He didn't help Voldemort. But when Petigrew disappeared Sirius got the blame because He was the only person who knew where Mum and Dad were" I explain
Harry, Ron and Hermione look at each other before they look at me.
"Where is he?" Harry asks
"The shrieking shack" I say expressionless
Just then Remus Lupin walks in the class and whispers alongside snape while looking at me
"Ms. Potter, would you mind coming with me? Harry, Hermione,Ron you too" Lupin says
I get up and Malfoy grabs my hand
"Where are you going?" He asks nervously
"To save Sirius Black. Draco, I'll be fine okay. Just please trust me on this" I say before walking out with Lupin.
Lupin leads us out side towards the whomping willow
"Where is He, Lissy?" he asks
"Do you mean Sirius or Pettigrew?" I ask confused
"Sirius Black" He says
