Hermione and the others come up behind me quietly, I point to the boys and they are just as surprised as I am.
"Catching up on some reading?" I ask scaring them
They all sit up and hide their books. I laugh and pick up Ron's book first
"Hope springs eternal" I say walking to Harry and George, taking their books
"The brothers Grimm, A brief history of time? You're reading my muggle books" I say shocked
"They're really interesting" Ron says, grabbing the book back and continuing to read.
"Wait if your reading my books that means you went through my stuff" I say looking at Harry
"We're sorry Love. We asked Harry to get them because we knew you'd be angry if I did" Fred says nervously
"That's fine just ask next time" I say ruffling Harry's hair
They go back to reading and we go downstairs to help Molly with lunch.
"It's awfully quiet up there, What are they doing?" Molly asks as we work
"They're reading. All of them" I answer
Molly looks surprised and Keeps making the sandwiches while Ginny and I cut up the vegetables Hermione and Angelina picked.
"I know you said you'd all help but I was wondering if Maybe you'd be okay with me going over to 'you know where' to start. That way it's not so much work when we all go" I say randomly
"Of course sweetie. He is your Brother after all. You do whatever you'd like just as long as you come back here. I like having you girls around, I find it gives the boys something to level out the crazy in 'em" She says smiling
I smile and nod my head. The girls all look at me sadly.
"It'll be fine. I just want to clean up the rooms and clear out the damaged stuff. Maybe get the electricity going again if I can. There will be plenty for you to do, trust me" I say
"You can use the floo until we get that pesky car fixed" Arthur says coming in and kissing Molly's cheek
"Do you mind If I take a look?" I ask
"By all means" Arthur says
I walk outside to the car and pop the hood. I laugh to myself before I hear someone come up behind me
"I found the problem" I say looking behind me at Arthur
"And what's that?" He asks
"Well see this piece here?" I ask in response
He looks at the piece and nods
"This is a spark plug. It's what allows the engine to start. It sends a stream of electricity to the others before hitting the engine when you start the car. These two are loose" I say tightening them
Arthur looks at me before climbing into the car waiting to start it. I check the other plugs.
"Alright try it now" I say
He starts the car and the engine starts perfectly. I smile as I close the hood and Arthur gets out. We go inside and he won't stop smiling.
"Fred my boy, I think you found the one. She fixed the car" Arthur announces
Everyone looks at me shocked.
"A few of the spark plugs were loose, all I did was tighten them" I say washing my hands before sitting down next to Ginny
"Well since you fixed it, You can take it" Arthur says
"Where are you going?" Harry and Fred ask together
"To get Harry's christmas present ready" I answer
"What do you mean ready?" Harry asks
"I mean it's a huge surprise and I need to fix it before you can have it" I answer
We all eat and I wash my plate before running upstairs to change into something cooler, I stick my wand in the pocket of my jacket and go downstairs. As I walk into the kitchen Arthur tosses me the keys to the car
"Be careful and Be safe" He says
"Always am" I say heading for the door
