"Let the sky fall, when it crumbles, we will stand tall, and face it all at Skyfall." ~ Skyfall [Adele]

It was a rainy afternoon when Jungkook ran into her house, shaking his wet hair out before running a hand back through it. He could hear the padding of Rosie's feet upstairs as she headed to the stairs, and he couldn't help but smile when he saw her practically skipping down them.

"Hi!" she beams, jumping off the last step into his arms.

"Hi, baby," he laughs, placing his hands on the back of her thighs and hoisting her up more properly. He walked towards her living room as she pressed kisses along his cheek and neck, and his heart sped up as it always did whenever she gave him affection.

"What're you doing here?" she asks as he sits down on the couch, her legs falling on either side of his hips. The last time he was here was a few days ago, and just the memory of what they had done that night sent a small blush to her cheeks.

Jungkook sighs at the question, interlocking their fingers before giving her hand a tight squeeze. He was nervous, more so for her reaction, but Friday was approaching and his time was running out.

"I have to tell you something," he says, his face turning cold. "It's serious and I need you to listen to me."

Rosie nods and cocks her head in confusion, but Jungkook's jaw sets and he let out a long sigh through his nose.

"Words, Rosie," he growls.

"I'll listen," she promises, her eyes filled with worry as she runs a comforting hand up his chest. "What's going on, Jungkook?"

"It's about Friday."

The week flew by and it was soon Friday. The day Kwang had been looking forward to and the one Jungkook had been dreading.

The car was silent as they drove to the address, the tension thick in the air. Rosie's hand was clutching onto Jungkook's tightly, because she knew that once she let go, they would be separated.

"Let's go."

Jungkook's voice was cold and everyone in the vehicle filed out, including a reluctant Rosie. Their hands were no longer intertwined and she felt like she could cry at any given moment, but she tried to appear brave as they walked into the old warehouse door.

"Well, well, well," Kwang grins, guards stationed almost everywhere in the room. "If it isn't the golden boy and his bitch. You only brought two men with you? Search them."

Rosie shrieks as rough hands search her body for any weapons, Kwang's cackle echoing in the room.

"C'mon Kwang, I don't have all day," Jungkook snaps, shoving the guard away and rolling his eyes when they pull a gun out on him.

"Easy," Kwang tells the guard in amusement. "He's right. I'd like my jewel now."

Jungkook inhaled sharply and grabbed Rosie's wrist, pulling her into his chest. Her scared eyes were searching his desperately, the tears she had tried so hard to keep in falling down her cheeks.

"I'm sorry," he whispers, bending down and kissing her.

He could taste her salty tears and he felt like crying himself when she clutched onto him, her trembling lips parting to let out a sob.

"Please don't do this," she pleads.

"I have to," he says firmly, causing a broken cry to fall from her lips as she shook her head. "For my family."

"She's pretty when she cries," Kwang chuckles, the ravenette's face flying up to view him as his eyes narrowed. "Hand her over, Jeon."

"No!" she cries as a guard walks forward and grabs her, his hold tightening when she thrashed in his arms. "Please, Jungkook! I-I can't do this! I can't, I can't, I-"

"Shut up!" Kwang roars, snapping his fingers at another guard. "You! Go with him and take her to the prison downstairs."

Jungkook feels his heart plummet as Rosie's cries echo as they take her down the stairs. It was like someone had just punched him in the gut, or maybe stabbed his heart and twisted the dagger for good measure.

"Now let us go," Jungkook exhaled shakily, looking down.

"You're quite stupid, you know," Kwang laughs, snapping his fingers.

All of a sudden, every guard in the room came after the three men, causing the ravenette to panic. As much as him, Namjoon and Jin fought against them, they were way outnumbered.

Namjoon and Jin were pushed down onto their knees by two guards and were forced to watch their boss be thrown onto a chair, tied up by metal chains.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook shouts, his eyes widening when Kwang shows him a screen.

A screen with a girl tied to the chair, a bag to her head, and a gun pressed to the side of it.

"Rosie," he whispers, as if he had just gotten the air knocked out of him.

"Did you really think I would let you go so easily?" Kwang laughs, shaking his head. "You really are dumber than I thought."

"Let her go!" he snaps, his fists clenching at his sides.

"Mmm, how 'bout no,'' Kwang laughs, bringing the small mic to his mouth. "Cock the gun."

"Kwang, stop!" Jungkook shouts, watching helplessly as the girl on the seat stiffens in fear.

"Here's what we're going to do," Kwang says, ignoring the ravenette. "We're going to make a new deal. You're going to give the entire gang to me instead. If not, I'll shoot your girl right in the head."

Jungkook thrashes violently in his seat and grits his teeth when the chains dig even deeper into his skin, causing him to halt his actions. He stared down at his lap, and for a few seconds, he was silent.

"Okay."

"Jungkook!" Jin shouts, grunting in pain when the guard pushes his elbow further into his back.

"What?" Kwang hisses, the ravenette's head lifting to view him.

"Just shoot her," he whispers in a broken voice.

"You can't be serious," Kwang laughs hysterically. "This is your girl! And you want me to just shoot her?"

"That's what I said."

"Don't play with me, Jeon. I'll really do it."

"I know."

Kwang's eye twitches and his teeth grit together, his fingers bringing the small mic to his lips again.

"Kill her!" he shouts furiously.

The guard presses his fingers to the ear piece and nods, stepping back and getting a better aim at the girl in the seat. It was obvious she was crying by the way her shoulders shook, but there was nothing Jungkook could do now.

And then there was a bang from the basement, and the girl fell forward in death.
