𝐀 𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐲 𝐳𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝 in front of Y/n's face, causing her to snap out of her remembrance. She found out that she was walking in a certain direction with Eret at her side, who kept looking around every so often. She must've got up and walked without realizing it.

"You found any sign of him?" The girl asked, though her voice was hoarse. She cleared her throat and mumbled a quick. "Sorry."

"No, not yet. Do you know which direction he went from your house?" The brunet replied.

"Nope." Y/n shook her head. "I was gone before he left. Tommy was with him before he left, but Ghostbur was out of sight when Tommy went out."

"Well, do you remember where you searched before I joined you?" They questioned.

"I know a searched my house, and the path from my house until where I met you." She informed, hope almost completely gone.

"We've covered most of the ground here, so maybe we can try going in an opposite direction? We'll keep our distances from the heart of L'manberg, though." He suggested.

"Sounds good." Y/n agreed, taking a look at the sky. It looked like it was around 17h00, so the sun would set pretty soon. The blue of the sun was fading into a shade of orange and yellow, all hot colors. (Stay in school kids. I wouldn't have known what are hot colors and cold colors if I didn't graduate 3rd grade) "We'd better hurry up. The sun's bound to set soon."

"Right. Should we start speeding up?" Eret suggested.

"Sure. Lead the way." The y/h/c haired girl said, slowing down a bit so her friend would be in front of her.

Her team mate nodded, and started sprinting through the thick grass. She did the same, speeding up and pumping her arms, determined to not stumble and make the same mistake she did last time.
