Idols Yoo Kangmin and Song Rae Chan confirmed that they were dating and has also confirmed their break up. Multiple believe that Song Rae Chan has "cheated" on Yoo Kangmin.
On February 23, 2021, BeLift and Bighit Entertainment came out with a response to the Kangmin and Nova dating scandal, saying they are dating, a day after apparently the two called it quits both as Jellyfish Entertainment and Bighit Entertainment both made posts about the two breaking up because they were apparently "too busy" and wanted to focus on their group work and their schedules. It was stated also in the posts that there is hope for them in the future but as of now no. Verrer's came quick to defend Kangmin by claiming that Nova has cheated on Kangmin with Niki as 2N hashtags storm the internet. Engene's were also quick to defend Nova, saying "she's not that type of person." Either we're seeing Nova's true colors or people were too quick to judge her.
