CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR

SLADE CHUCKLED, "she's the one who told me that you all got back together." harlow stood up, she cracked her neck. wow rose, she thought, sneaky bitch. "she's been working for me the whole time."

"talk about using." harlow said to anger the both of them. she picked up dicks baton and threw it to him, "not gonna lie, impressive pirate."

"is that you?" rose asked looking at the two.

"the one and only." harlow and dick both said in unison, harlow was less cocky than dick but what did she expect.

"you finally accepted your true family." deathstroke stated as harlow looked at her nails. she was tired, but she had to keep fighting even though she needed sleep.

"i have." rose replied, "titans are my family." harlow tried her best not to laugh but a small snicker came out of her mouth. "dont make me kill you." dick and harlow both raised their eyebrows, harlow was proud of rose.

"dont worry, you won't." harlow put up her hand real quickly, since she needed to save power.

"isn't that a little cocky?" she asked as she held back deathstroke. "just saying." all of a sudden the forcefield went down, the three went to fighting. harlow kinda held off, since deathstroke, rose, and dick were kinda fighting more.

deathstroke swung at harlow, who did a flip to block it. if harlow had to be honest, she hasn't done that in years, but it worked out. dick was thrown on the ground and deathstroke went down to stab him, harlow quickly jumped in front, she put her hands up. harlow let out a cry as she shoved the swords backwards, white energy  surrounding them. deathstroke kicked harlow back, dick got back up as rose yelled, "dad!"

rose stabbed deathstroke, right in the gut, "no!" harlow and dick screamed as harlow felt her ear bleeding even more. what was happening to her? rose took off her fathers mask, then hers.

"jericho." she said as she stared into her fathers eyes. harlow lifted her head up to see what was happening, she wiped the blood from her ear, "if you're in there, you know what to do." all of a sudden deathstroke fell to the ground, harlow swallowed.

they killed him.

dick stood up, he grabbed harlows arm to pull her up also as they looked at the body. "you heard what he said." rose stated as harlow rubbed her swords together before placing them on her back.

"yeah." dick replied, out of breath.

"i'm sorry." rose replied.

"forget it. are you okay?" harlow interrupted making sure the younger girl was okay before checking herself.

"i will be." rose replied as harlow looked behind them. olivia stood there, her smile was super wide as she walked up to the two. "he wants to talk to you-"

"wait. wait. wait." olivia said quickly, "jericho is inside of you? thats... um... cool." harlow nudged her friend who scratched her forehead in confusion.

"jericho?" dick asked gaining the other twos attention. harlow let out a small gasp of relief as she stepped forward, "is that really you?"

harlow smiled softly at the younger girl, who was jericho now. "hey jericho."

rose, jericho, stepped forward then he did a sign to them, "what's up?" he said which made olivia let out a small chuckle. rose flipped off dick which made harlow let out a 'ooh' sound.

"its good to have you back jericho." harlow replied with a small accent forming. that was odd also, that never happened at all before what happened with wildflower.

"thank you guys." rose replied using sign, "for finding me."

harlow was grabbed by olivia, "i need to talk to you, let them have a moment." olivia stated as she pulled her friend back, "also your ear is bleeding." harlow wiped the blood again, "harlow i think its you, your controlling me and axel... i know i sound crazy but when you used your powers i felt dizzy, weak." harlow looked at her hands, "what if you can bring back the dead!"

"no!" harlow whispered exclaimed, "i can't do that! i kill people, i dont bring them back." she started to stutter, "i've been going through a lot right now, i don't think i can do that. otherwise i would bring back everyone i lost, my mom, garth, sab... liv what if someone else is controlling you-"

"is he dead?" donna asked making harlow look over at her other friend, "also where the fuck were you?" harlow sighed, as she left olivia alone.

"in central city, at barrys. where were you?" harlow replied with a sarcastic tone, her accent coming back again.

"i like the accent." ellie said popping up out of nowhere, "where'd you get it?"

"nowhere." harlow replied quickly before sighing, "what's next on our agenda? i have a feeling if deathstroke is here, we got two other things going on... wildflower and my dad... and gar, bea... connor?"

"whose connor?" olivia asked.

"i fell off of a roof, he saved me." harlow replied looking up at the sky, "yeah thats how it went." olivia nodded, she looked up at the sky, "yep definitely nothing else happened."

"sounds legit, lets go with it." dick replied as everyone looked at donna and ellie who were waiting to explain what they needed to do.
