AFTER A WHILE DICK CAME OUT OF THE ROOM, HIS EYES LOOKING FOR HARLOW. they needed to get to the bottom of this girl mystery, and the only person who could figure it out was harlow violet. dick looked in the conference room, their stuff was still there, which was a good sign to the brunette. he walked down the hall, his eyes frantically searching for the person then he found her. she was sitting down looking through those case files for her parents, her eyes looking sad. "you know, if you keep looking at them, they'll never go away." dick said making the brunette look up from her work.

she shook her head with a small smile, "i don't want it to go away." harlow replied looking at the folder. yes, it happened almost 15 years ago but harlow couldn't let them go. every part of her just wants revenge on those two people, they mocked her even to this day and she just can't get them out of her head. "how did they find your parents murderer?"

dick shrugged, taking a seat across from her. he realized she looked different now that he looked at her. harlow got rid of her bangs, her face was softer, her eyes got a little darker from years ago. harlow looked mature, way more mature than she did 5 years ago. "he slipped up, said something he should've never said. one day someone will slip up." dick reassured as harlow looked at her bracelets that rolled up from under her sleeve. "you'll find the guys."

harlow frowned, "maybe." she whispered leaning forward. glimpses of the men flashed through her head, from the moment they walked up on them, from the moment they walked away. one stood confident with his decision , the other was shaking like he just fucked up. the confident one was tall, the shaking one was like dick's height... one day. she stood up walking over to the window to see the city "anything else from the kid?"

dick sighed, leaning back in his seat as he looked down the hallway. he hesitated seeing harlow look over at him, the two making eye contact. "no, uh, just the same thing we already knew." dick replied looking at his hands. harlow nodded, the tension in the room was thick enough for harlow to cut through it like a knife. "oh and that there's something evil inside of her."

harlow went wide eyed, her mouth shaped like an 'o'. "what?" she asked with a small gasp. dick looked at her, she sat back down and leaned in, "like abilities?" now that would be a twist, a girl with abilities came to the two people who know most about them, "now that would be a twist." she leaned back in her seat, eyeing the clock, "you would have to figure that out, i have to head back to new york in 30."

dick frowned as harlow tapped her finger on the folder, maybe he should just get over it. after all harlow moved on with her life, but dick never has. every night he wished she was with him, but because of him leaving to save her life, it never would work that way. "have you talked with barry?"

harlow shrugged, "i quit being a hero." that was all she said, which pained dick. he was the reason why she was dragged into being a hero, he was the reason she left. "but to answer your question, yeah i do." it was a hard thing to do, barry allen raised harlow like a daughter and she couldn't talk to him without getting the memories that she wanted to forget.
