A girls night. That is what Ruby and Monica needed, more than anything. So that is what they decided to do... the best friends went into Mystic Falls and bought their favourite snacks from the grocery store.

They also spent some time looking through the few clothing stores in Mystic falls, Ruby scoring a new pair of lace up boots for a quite cheap price. Monica didn't buy anything, but enjoyed an excuse to use her brand new pink handbag that Cynthia had gifted to her.

They then headed back to the school, eating dinner with their girlfriends, before the pair got cosy in their shared dorm room.

With Monica moving into the dorm, they had made some changes to it, like hanging warm white fairy lights along the roof of the dorm.. and making a photo wall. Many photos were with Ruby, since she was one to constantly whip out her phone and take a selfie.

Sitting with the fairy lights on, the girls laid on their beds as Monica set up her laptop on a small table so they could both see it, and they binged How I met your mother. All night. So when the next day had arrived and a Qareen broke into the school, the two girls had no idea.

That was, until they woke up after it all happened and looked around the school, finding all of the witches together outside in a circle as they held hands. The witches looked up, as they heard the sound of Monica's clicking heels, as they saw Monica and Ruby approach them.

"Aw circle time? Do we get to share our most honest feelings with the group?" Monica asked deviously, knowing she would love to share her most honest opinions about Alyssa.

"Ruby... Monica? Where have you guys been all day?" Hope frowned, as Ruby and Monica shared an awkward look. "We sort of pulled an all nighter watching How I met your mother... and slept all day." Ruby admitted awkwardly.

"What did we miss? Anything cool?" Monica asked, as Jordan faced her, "Tell you soon." He answered

The werewolf and vampire duo watched as the witches created an ascendant, as Emma smiled proudly at them for working together. "Working together. That is what Coven day is all about."

Power surged through the witches as Emma spoke. "It's only when witches are alone that they are truly in danger. But together we are strong and can cast spells that none of us would be able to do ourselves." She explained.

Monica glanced at Ruby, as she thought about Emma's words. Sure, she meant it towards the witches, but the Montgomery still understood what Emma meant. "Together, we are strong and united.." Monica thought, as her eyes darted from Ruby, to Lizzie... and then Jordan.

The girl that always wanted to be alone, had found her family.. her own coven or pack... and she had never felt so safe and loved.

"Now, witches... focus on assembling these pieces into a new ascendant that will lead to a new prison world." Emma said. Ruby and Monica watched in amazement, as the pieces of the ascendant came together. "Woah.." Ruby blurted out.

"One spell down. One to go." Josie said, as the witches opened their eyes and separated their hands. Alyssa handed the Saltzman twins the ascendant.

"So.. mind explaining what is going on?" Monica asked, trying not to show her concern in her voice, and instead continue to act cooly.

"The sandclock is breaking which means the dark magic will go straight back to Josie, my Mum and I." Jordan explained, as Monica's face fell now. "But it's okay— we're going to send it off to a prison world." Lizzie cleared up, as she saw her girlfriend begin to worry. The vampire nodded, "Okay."

"Well done witches— but it's not over. We must pull together and channel our energy as one to banish the Sandclock before it breaks." Emma explained to the group.

Josie placed the Bennett blood in the ascendant, and all the witches began to chant together again. Suddenly in a white flash, the Sandclock disappeared before their eyes.

"We did it!" Jordan blurted out, before smiling widely. "It's gone!" Josie added, not able to contain her excitement as she rushed over to hug Jordan. She came to her senses and realised that it was probably an awkward idea, but an overjoyed, Jordan hugged her back before they separated.

With their hands intertwined, Hope and Ruby walked towards the Saltzman twin's dorm. As they walked, Ruby scrolled on her phone, wearing a frown when she realised that Rafael hasn't opened any of her messages, let alone responded.

"You okay babe?" Hope asked softly. Ruby placed her phone back in her pocket, before she looked to her girlfriend with a saddened look. "Rafi hasn't answered any of my messages in days.. it's really unlike him." She admitted. Hope thought about it, before she said, "He is in the woods.. maybe he has no reception." Ruby nodded, still quite unsure, before she frowned, "Yeah.. I guess so."

They entered Josie and Lizzie's dorm, after knocking, and find the twins on Lizzie's bed, with Monica laying inbetween them. They'd been talking about Sebastian... as he'd suddenly left the school.

"Got room for two more in the cuddle pile?" Ruby asked as Monica sighed, "I guess." With that, Ruby and Hope squished between them.

"You witches did really well.. to work together like that." Ruby said, as it was clear that all of the witches had their differences and didn't all get along, but put it all aside to work together.

"Thanks.." Josie gave Ruby a small smile, but suddenly, with the blink of an eye, the only ones left on Lizzie's bed were Ruby and Hope, as Josie, Lizzie and Monica literally disappeared before their eyes.
