Vanessa wasn't dumb, she was a lawyer and a scientist for christ's sakes.

So. When she exited the kids room (it was always a hassle to put the kids to bed, especially tonight. They really didn't want to pass up the opportunity to hang out with uncle Groff), and saw Lin's hand curled around Jonathan's hair? It wasn't anything particularly new, but she just took note of it.

She anticipated it all. Lin would place a hand on Groff's thigh, probably give him an endearing kiss on the cheek. And as soon as Lin caught sight of her-

"V!" He gave her a blinding grin, "Groffsauce, you wouldn't believe it, he said, 'How do you open Twitter?' like an old man!"

And look, she didn't mind. In fact, she loved Groff a lot. She really believed that he brought out the best in both Lin and her.

"Look, honey, he's trying. You gotta give him props."

Jonathan blushed, obviously embarrassed. He hid his face in Lin's neck, groaning at their antics. It made Vanessa's heart swell.

"I'm not making fun of him, don't worry!" He soothingly ran a hand over Jon's back, "In fact, I have claimed Jonathan and I am now his social media protector!"

"Alright," She chuckled, "I believe you. Don't let him go on Twitter unsupervised."

And the looks they traded? She loved it, loved them. So yeah, in all seriousness, she didn't mind sharing Groff. Never did, never will.
