Chapter 33

A couple of weeks later, Kamari and Quinton went to a party that they were invited to. It was another celebrity's birthday.

Kamari was talking to some people while Quinton was somewhere else talking to other people.

"I loved your last song. You sang your heart out girl", a girl said.

"Thank you so much. I was actually going to wait to release it after my tour but better now than later I guess", Kamari replied.

Suddenly, Symone walked over.

"Hey girl", Symone said as she hugged the girl Kamari was talking to.

"Hey", she replied. "How have you been?"

"I've been great and you?", Symone asked.

"I've been good", she replied.

"That's good. Do you mind if I steal Mari for a second?", Symone asked.

"Go right ahead", she said. "I'll just go chat with everyone else"

Symone smiled and nodded.

The girl walked away.

"What?", Kamari asked.

"I just came over to apologize to you. I guess I like my fan side come out and I was wrong", Symone said.

"Why are you apologizing to me?", Kamari asked. "I mean like do you really mean it or do you want something?"

"I really mean in. You blocked me, so I couldn't call", Symone said.

Kamari looked her up and down.

Symone smiled.

"What?", symone asked.

"...nothing. I guess that I can forgive you", Kamari said.

"Cool", Symone said.

"But we ain't cool", Kamari said. "At least not right now"

"I don't blame you. I liked your boyfriend. I'd be the same way", Symone said.

"So you just all of a sudden got over your little crush?", Kamari asked.

Suddenly, Quinton walked over and put his arm around Kamari's waist.

"Hey baby", he said before he kissed her lips.

Kamari kissed him back then stop. "Mm, Q", she said with a smile.

Quinton bit his bottom lip as he looked at her.

"But anyways, I'll let y'all be. Thank you for letting me talk to you", Symone said before she walked away from a smile.

"I know you wanted to make her mad but did you really have to do that?", Kamari asked with a smile.

"Yea", he replied. "Just like how I'm going to do it again"

Quinton and Kamari started kissing.

Quinton pulled away.

"But I just came over to check on you", he said.

Kamari nods.

"I might as come wherever you going now", Kamari said.

"Alright", Quinton said before they started walking toward the people Quinton was talking to.

"So what did she say?", Lamaria said.

Lamaria is Symone's friend.

"She said she forgave me but we still ain't cool", Symone replied.

"But little do she know", Lamaria said with a chuckle.
