Conversations from when Lauren first arrived at 12 Grimmauld Place...

Lauren was sitting alone in the room she shared with Hermione and Ginny, unpacking her things as the other girls helped Mrs. Weasley with dinner.

There was a subtle knock at the door and Lauren turned to look at the doorway, to find Fred and George standing there.

"You guys can come in. Atleast you knocked, Ron just kinda walks in." She chuckled.

The twins laughed as they walked in, taking a seat on either side of Lauren. "So, what's up?" She asked.

"Just wanted to ask, how ya holding up?" Fred asked, and George added, "Ron and Hermione said you didn't write much in your letters."

"I'm doing fine, thanks. It's so different, without him, y'know. And I miss him, a lot, but I'll be okay." Lauren told the two.

The twins smiled at her, she was taking this really well. George then told her, "We know, that we could never be like Cedric was to you, and we would never try to replace him, but you're like a little sister to us."

"So if you ever need some big brother help, you know where to find us." Fred finished.

Lauren felt tears well up in her eyes, but quickly wiped them away as she hugged the two boys infront of her.

"Thank you guys, so much. You have no idea how much that means to me," she said with a smile.

It was the first night Lauren was spending at Grimmauld Place, and she sat on her bed, talking to Ginny and Hermione.

The girls were, of course, talking about boys. Ginny and Hermione asked Lauren about Harry, which made her blush like crazy.

She diverted the conversation from herself though, when she asked Ginny about Michael Corner, the Ravenclaw boy she was dating, so it was then her turn to become embarrassed.

Finally, at around 12 am, the girls said their good nights to each other and went to sleep. That is, until they were awoken four hours later by a hoarse scream.

Ginny and Hermione jolted awake, and frantically looked for where the scream came from.

Lauren was sitting upright in her bed, shaking, with her face buried in her hands, as tears streamed down her face.
