Lauren entered her dorm room, exhausted from the last quidditch practice before the game, to find Hermione waiting eagerly for her. There was an Advanced Potions book with a page marked sitting on her bed, and a parchment of notes beside it.
"Lauren! Oh, finally you're back!" Hermione exclaimed, bouncing up from her bed and running over to the confused girl at the door.
"What's got you all excited?" Lauren asked, a nervous chuckle escaping her mouth.
"I need you to come with me, I've...got to show you something!" Hermione said, still eager.
Hermione didn't need to 'show her something', no. Her and Daphne had made a plan to bring Lauren and Theo to Professor Slughorn, in hopes that he would have an antidote for the love potion both teens were under.
"I just got back from practice- can't I take a shower first?" Lauren asked, gesturing to her sweaty practice clothes.
"No, we've got to go now! It won't take long, you can shower after." Hermione told her, before grabbing her arm and dragging her out of the dormitory.
"Herms, where are we going?" Lauren groaned, as she was pulled down the stairs.
"You'll see, just be patient." Hermione muttered in response.
Hermione dragged Lauren all the way down to the dungeons, where she was supposed to be meeting Daphne, who was with Theo.
They stopped at the Slytherin common room entrance, finding Daphne and a puzzled looking Theo standing outside the door.
Upon seeing Theo, Lauren's face broke out into a wide grin, and she seemingly forgot her confusion of the situation.
"Hi," she said, a dreamy smile on her lips.
"Hey," Theo replied, the same dopey smile on his face.
The couple leaned towards each other, going in for a kiss, but Hermione yanked Lauren away.
"Stop! We don't have time for this," Hermione said, a disgusted look on her face, causing Lauren and Theo's smiles to become small frowns.
Daphne and Hermione dragged the lovesick pair down the corridors until they finally stopped at Professor Slughorn's office.
